Thought it was in by Foden. Great sequence of play there.

Cue the monthly realization by the media that Man United actually have a very talented squad.

I'll take it. I have no doubt City wins but it's nice to send out a warning shot.

My takeaway from this is that if City get Halaand it’s over.

They created so many chances and just didn’t do anything with them, couldn’t shoot properly to save their lives.

I don’t think they will because they won’t play the game. Once he’s above their evaluation I’m sure they’ll look elsewhere. Other teams will pay more, so they might step away. Yes, they’ll spend big but they’re not going to get into a betting war.

Of course, perhaps he’ll prefer there over other options so who knows.

Yeah this definitely was more of a game where City underperformed rather than United performed at all. The two goals were good. Second one especially. First one was just one of those things.

United though we’re very fortunate to not be punished by a lot of their bumbling mistakes. I thought City were putting so much pressure on United when they were playing out of the back but never gave that final dagger even though they constantly were taking possession right back from United.

City definitely underperformed but a lot of it was due to how Ole set you guys up. The double-pivot of Fred & McTominay were really good marking KDB and Gundogan out of the match, especially Gundogan whose probably the front runner for POTY so far. The attacking band behind Martial did a great job too.

In hindsight Pep should have went with his False 9 approach with Silva as the false 9. Getting him to drop deep would have freed up one of KDB/Gundo. Pep did that in the first leg of the LC Semi’s last year and Silva pretty much ran the show.

Gotta give credit to Ole, even if he’s using Mou’s tactics in big matches [emoji23]

Eventually City's goal scoring despite not having a proper goalscoring striker was going to dry up at least a bit.

This is why I think they will be super scary if they can find one, it's legit the only weakness they have.

                      Not a fan of Jesus?

I think he’s crazy talented but Pep loves instructing him out to drift wide. He’s also crazy injury prone but then again so is Aguero.

So a million replays at the worst possible angle, then they finally find the good angle and look at it for about .5 seconds and decide it was handball?

That was such a close call, I'm not sure there was enough arm to disallow that tbh.

Chelsea improved their manager and now suddenly they've improved their results. Mad world out there.
