I have no words for that referee. Given the penalty Pogba got on Saturday, where was Mane’s penalty? The late tackle on Milner got ignored?

It’s not just us, Chelsea had a blatant pen denied yesterday.

It’s almost like the league wants United back at the top.

It would absolutely suck if the sleeping giant (United) wins the title.

We’ve been lucky that their massive fan base has been dormant for nearly a decade.

I definitely think the handball penalty rules have gotten a bit silly this year, but if you block a shot on target with your hand even on accident then it should be a penalty.

Wait, what penalty did Mane deserve today? Just because Pogba dove doesn’t mean giving more penalties for diving would be the better answer.

The Walker-Peters one? Where he didn’t even dive, his legs were taken, whereas Pogba literally dived and was given the penalty.

If it’s working for United, as is to be expected considering it’s been happening for almost 30 straight years of them getting EXTREMELY favorable decisions in the box, why can’t it work for everyone else? A world where Fernandes won a penalty last season for a red card challenge on a Villa player, United’s forward have been given a clear mandate to go down under any contact knowing they will always get the decision where VAR won’t overturn as it’s not clear and obvious.

You’re a United fan, so obviously it’s easier to plug your ears and pretend the main reason you’re actually in a title race is the number of decisions you’ve had your way in the last month or so. After all, is the premier league living up to its billing if United arent challenging for the title?

Lol wtf. Okay there. I’ve been EXTREMELY vocal about how bad I think diving is for the sport. I don’t think it’s good when anyone does it, so I don’t know where the plugging my ears stuff comes from. I don’t care if it’s Pogba, Bruno, or Mane doing his usual flopping around. It’s bad for the sport. The only thing I find worse are the incidents where players feign injury for the slightest touches to try and get people sent off and I’ve been very vocal about it. The rest of what you posting really isn’t worth responding to.

Edit. Actually the penalty stuff is worth responding to because if you are going to say things like this, you need to at least see some statistics.

Since the 02/03 season, Manchester United has led the premier league in penalties given THREE times. THREE. Currently Leicester leads the league this season. Those THREE years are
                19/20
                11/12
02/03 ( tied with Fulham for most )

Have they had a lot? Sure. Are they even the most from the 02/03 season until now? Nope. Manchester City is with 107

Here are the “big” team numbers.
                Manchester City 107
                Manchester United 102
                Liverpool 98
                Chelsea 97
                Arsenal 87

So enough with this stuff about United getting all these decisions that other teams don’t get. Since 2002 Liverpool has had 4 less penalties. Can’t go into other competitions because they all play different games, different competitions, different opponents, etc. Honestly if you want to go back further by all means. That was what I found.

Complete record of Premier League penalties awarded, and penalties conceded for all 34 seasons from 1992-93 to 2025-26.

I was curious to see the home/away numbers during that time frame.

                    Home
                    74: Manchester City
                    70: Chelsea
                    68: Manchester United
                    59: Arsenal
                    56: Liverpool

                    Away
                    49: Liverpool

                    34: Chelsea
                    30: Arsenal

Also, the overalls I show, from the same source are different. Order remains the same, though.

                    108: Manchester City

                    105: Liverpool
                    104: Chelsea
                    89: Arsenal

And for the heck of it, pre-VAR.

And here are the against numbers:

79: Arsenal (can not yet confirm, but I believe 29 of these are on David Luiz)
                      69: Liverpool
                      64: Manchester City
                      52: Manchester United
                      46: Chelsea

                      And again, pre-VAR

                      70: Arsenal
                      63: Liverpool
                      57: Manchester City
                      45: Manchester United
                      42: Chelsea

All these numbers show why so many Arsenal supporters have had a persecution complex over the years—valid or not, heh.

Found another source, here's the overall for penalties awarded from the inception of the Premier League, 92/93, until now. Keep in mind that Man City was not always in the league each year.

                        151: Liverpool
                        139: Manchester United
                        137: Chelsea
                        122: Arsenal
                        117: Manchester City

Kreb... do you have a stat of what player(s) have given away the most penalties/awarded the most?
