Owen definitly wants to be at Anfield. I'd like to see him back there, but I'm not sold on Crouch.

      No links here but...

      - Albert Luque has completed his move to Newcastle and could line-up against Man Utd tonight. (I doubt they'll have a chance of getting Owen now)

      - Everton have secured Roma back Matteo Ferrari on a year-long loan deal and Inter's Andy van der Meyde is also set to join the Toffees.

      - Bolton have agreed a season-long loan deal for Juve defender Igor Tudor. They have also extended the contract of Stelios Giannakopoulos.

Arsenal is supposed to have a huge transfer account for the winter window. Arsene Wenger is looking at a few dutch starts like Kuyt. Thinking of selling Pires to Florientina and thinking of spending 20 million on Torres.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

Bayern withdraw their offer making him a "free agent" this summer. Look for Bayern to try to offload him in the winter transfer window. Man U. and Real Madrid seem the most interested.

also Tottenham may be interested in Arjen Robben if he continues to have his injury and form problems and Ashley Cole may be headed to Real Madrid.

Ballack is cup tied. Doubt anyone will pay that much for someone who can't play in Europe. Big news though.

Especially when they can get him for free in the offseason but he could always help make the domestic cup push, and Man U. really needs a midfielder if they want to even think of catching Chelsea even if he can't play Champions League. Also Real Madrid just likes stockpiling great players but I'm sure he can be of use to try and catch Barcelona and the 1st place team in that league. I mean of course its best for Bayern to sell him for whatever they can rather than having him just leave for free. I wonder if Arsenal would go for him. Is he a holding midfielder or more of an offensive midfielder?

Ballack will not be leaving Germany in the middle of a World Cup year. He'll finish the season at Bayern, then move to England somewhere.

Bayern has a lot of players whose contracts end this year. For example, I heard Sagnol is linked with Juventus.

Fulham have signed Simon Elliott from the Crew.

yeah, his career has gone downhill fast. He wanted to go somewhere where he could play to increases his chances of making the WC squad. But I don't see how he could make it over Gilardino, Toni, Del Piero, or Cassano.

Definately, his career is going down the tubes, he was once a great player for us but these younger guys are much better at the present time.

Yeah - Vieri's over the hill at this point in his career....Kind of sad because he was so good in 2002....

I don't see him making the team as mentioned above, there are better players at his position.

                              So let's see what's happened:

Man United signed Evra and Vidic....

Liverpool signed Agger and traded Josemi for Kromkamp

                              Arsenal got Diaby

                              Chelsea got Maniche

                              www.soccernet.com were my sources...

Cassano off to Real Madrid to add to their already solid team chemistry

Tottenham have signed Charlton's Danny Murphy just minutes before the deadline. They also signed Egyptian defender Hossam Ghaly from Feyenoord.

FM fave Andres D'Allesandro has joined Portsmouth on loan. Pompey also signed Wayne Routledge on loan a few days ago.
