Chelsea to sign Sergio 'Kun' Aguero in a "£100 million package deal" in January?

Wow that's massive....I'd love to see Kun Aguero in the Prem although his wage demands are a little much considering what he's done. He can't compare himself yet to Ronaldo, who has won more than Kun has at this point

He's a better finisher than but isn't the worker Tevez is.

Even though it's not my money I don't want to see that deal made, even with the Africa Cup of Nations coming up.

Could Donovan be moving south of the boarder to Club America?

From what I gather reading the spanish reports, the Club has made their interest known to public that their looking into acquiring LD10.

But Donovan says he hasnt been contacted by America.

Going to Mexico isn't going to silence his critics. Unless he is going there just to get ready for the WC. It really makes no sense whatsoever.

They are completely different types of players.

The only thing that I would say is similar is that neither of them can score in the Prem. I hope chelski is dumb enough to blow their wad on him....good luck with that one.

I think Kun could score in the prem. He's not a bad player, but he will really need to bump up his work ethic. I'm no Chelsea fan, but he's talented and could add some spice to the Prem.

Why am I getting grief for this?

It would be the same damn situation as Tevez. Very good player with lots of hype...sees stars and dollar signs, goes to a loaded team...surprisingly, doesn't get enough playing time...finds himself having to transfer again.

Same situation. Kun would do himself good either staying at Atletico or at least go to a bigger club that actually needs someone at his position. Don't do what Tevez has done.

Yup. He's a more skilled Tevez but his work-rate isn't on par with Tevez.

In other news it seems like a lot of folks are going to be interested in a certain 19yr old striker from Inter.

Balotelli the Rossoneri fan? I still laugh at that.

Oh I don't doubt that he's not a talent. I just don't think he has the power, strength & workrate to succeed in the Prem. He's just too small a player IMO to be a regular force in England. Sure, he'd score a pretty goal every now & then, but he's not going to score in the 20 goal range....

That's not a knock on his talent, he's very good from what I've seen of him, but his style just doesn't fit the Prem.

Tevez on the other hand has the Prem style (strong, balanced, powerful, high workrate etc.), he just isn't a natural finisher. If you could somehow morph Kun & Tevez into one single player you'd have Wayne Rooney.
