Re: The Transfer Thread
From what I gather reading the spanish reports, the Club has made their interest known to public that their looking into acquiring LD10.
But Donovan says he hasnt been contacted by America.
My prediction: No Chance in Hell it happens.Comment

Going to Mexico isn't going to silence his critics. Unless he is going there just to get ready for the WC. It really makes no sense whatsoever."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Re: The Transfer Thread
They are completely different types of players.
The only thing that I would say is similar is that neither of them can score in the Prem. I hope chelski is dumb enough to blow their wad on him....good luck with that one.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
It would be the same damn situation as Tevez. Very good player with lots of hype...sees stars and dollar signs, goes to a loaded team...surprisingly, doesn't get enough playing time...finds himself having to transfer again.
Same situation. Kun would do himself good either staying at Atletico or at least go to a bigger club that actually needs someone at his position. Don't do what Tevez has done.Comment

Why am I getting grief for this?

In other news it seems like a lot of folks are going to be interested in a certain 19yr old striker from Inter.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
That's not a knock on his talent, he's very good from what I've seen of him, but his style just doesn't fit the Prem.
Tevez on the other hand has the Prem style (strong, balanced, powerful, high workrate etc.), he just isn't a natural finisher. If you could somehow morph Kun & Tevez into one single player you'd have Wayne Rooney.Comment
