Re: The Transfer Thread
I don't think Torres wants to leave Liverpool. He's a pretty loyal guy and he'll likely stick it out one more year unless the upper guys want to sell him. he's said over and over that the Premier League suits his game perfectly and he's enjoyed his time here. The British Media take things out of context all the time when really, all he said was how he was surprised how guys like Lamps, Gerrard, and Rooney have made it that long....Comment

Liverpool is going to want an arm and a leg for him and I just don't see any of the Clubs that could afford him that really need him.
Barca maybe, but it seems like David Villa is the guy they want.
He won't go to Real unless they offer him and Liverpool something they can't refuse. Which is distinct possibility.
My money is on a team like Juventus or Inter Milan."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Re: The Transfer Thread
The thing is - the European Media are different. They will ask a question, get a response and take the response out of context to say something drastically different. Torres could definitely want to leave, but the way the media continues to take things out of context is hilarious. People forget that he has said he loves Liverpool and is happy there lol. It's like the whole Fabregas thing.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
He wants out. If not he would've never made those comments. He's not going to come right out and say it yet. Because I don't think he knows whether or not Liverpool will be able to move him this Summer.

Re: The Transfer Thread
Thats the main reason I think he wants out of England. If he does believe that leaving England would stop him from getting roughed up, he is pretty naive"The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

I think him as a lone striker only makes things worse, too.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
No its definitely the most physical. But for guys like Torres, everywhere is going to be physical. The big name guys are going to get hit no matter where they go. As teams try to take guys like that out of the game mentally and physically."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Let the silly-season begin... Sport.co.uk is reporting Wenger pulled out of a last minute deal for CSKA Moscow GK Igor Akinfeev in January. The article of course implies he could be at the top of the list this summer.Comment

Gotta love those European tabloids."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Re: The Transfer Thread
Just based on "Paper Talk," it looks like lots of Money will shelled out this Summer.
And Liverpool will be picked to the bone. Torres, Yossi, and Gerrard all rumored out for big money.Comment
