Re: The Transfer Thread
LMAO!!! Well, to be fair, Rafa restructured the academy this year and has stated that he wants to develop youth a la Wenger. Shelvey is going to be good IMHO and hopefully, he made the right choice.
Apparently ZM, Arsenal might be interested in Balotelli....as much talent as this kid has, he's such a baby and I'm not sure I want him at Arsenal
You think Wenger would want anyone from the ole folks home?"The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

Re: The Transfer Thread
But you almost had me talked into it.
You should teach Berlusconi and company your negotiation tactics. Seems like they're going to need it."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

I wonder a few things about a possible deal for Balotelli. Would Arsene be willing to open up the checkbook? And does Arsene have a track record of dealing with players that have a reputation of being full of themselves? If all the answers to those questions are "yes" and the deal gets done, I think Arsenal would finally have the cutting edge up front that they have lacked for the last couple of years.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
When it comes to the Premier League, there are two teams that you don't have to worry about when it comes to developing talent. Liverpool and Chelsea.

The biggest question is will Arsene be able to handle the kids attitude. Arsene has been known to get rid of a guy no matter how good he is, if his attitude gets out of hand. And Balotellis record has shown that he is a primadonna.
I personally don't think Wenger is gonna take a chance on this kid unless he thinks he is getting a steal. Which very well could be the case."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

I swear...don't these fools realize that unless your name is Drogba, Lampard, or Terry, you're only a bit player at Chelsea? Geez.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Not even that, but he's going to ruin his career in EPL. He's not a physical enough player to be able to take the beating that he is about to experience. It's just like Fernando Torres was saying a couple weeks ago, about how he's going to need to leave the Premier League sooner rather than later because it's just too physical of a league for him. Oh well. Aguero is such a talent too...YNWA

If the EPL is too physical for a guy like Torres, its going to be too physical on everybody."The academic support at Ohio State, there is no way you can fail. Even if you're giving minimal effort there is no way you can fail."

El Nino's problem is that he is always rushed back after he picks up an injury. Liverpool have absolutely no striking options after him, so he HAS to play.Comment
