I'm guessing we get him. He reportedly wants it to happen, so that helps.

A few deals that I missed, David Bentley has joined West Ham United on a season-long loan. (Yet Gio has to stay??)

Real Madrid midfielder Fernando Gago has joined Italian side Roma on a one-year loan deal

Craig Belllamy to Liverpool via SSN
SWP to QPR is a done deal

Raul Meireles has submitted a written transfer request

I've got to say, I'm fairly happy with Arteta and Benayoun. We were never going to land a big name and we definitely got better today. Hopefully Yossi works out and we get him on a permanent next year.

I have a feeling Bolton is going to regret that decision once he walks out the door for nothing next Summer. A team like Bolton can't afford to do that. Maybe they are hoping City or Chelsea has a couple of back line injuries and overpays for him in January.

Apparently Spurs wouldn't offer enough late and missed out on Cahill and Arsenal had their second bid rejected.

That must be what they are thinking. Sell him in January when teams make panic buys. That must be it. Surely they won't let him walk for nothing in the summer. It's not like they have much money in the first place.
