Real Madrid aren't ignoring their backline anymore, having agreed a deal for Valencia defender Raul Albiol.

I've always liked Santa Cruz and feel he's a bit underrated. Are Man City still going to have Robinho? If so, that is a tough attacking front. And with Steven Ireland there to feed them the ball and cause general havoc from the attacking mid, they're going to be scoring plenty of goals.

            Your're probably right.

But as long as Tevez is owned by these handlers I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole if I was an owner of a team. These guys are going to try to get him transfered every year because that is how those guys make their money.

I believe whoever signs him from this point on will have Tevez's full rights. Gotta agree with the handlers/advisers though. How Tevez hasn't realized they're just leeching off him is a bit sad. He only needs one agent.

Edin Dzeko is staying at Wolfsburg, much to his dismay...

Meanwhile, Milan is looking at their secondary target, Emmanuel Adebayor.

Milan have so far failed on both their transfer targets...Cissokho and Dzeko. Hopefully, they fail on Ade, too. Don't want him. Gosh, Berlusconi and Galliani SUCK!!!

Anyone else heard rumors of United going after Sergio Aguero?

It was all over the TV yesterday while I was in Mexico.

I can't wait til Milan use some of that Kaka money on Ade. You just know they're going to overpay for him by atleast 10 million pounds.

Manchester United sign Antonio Valencia to a four-year deal.

Wolves have signed striker Kevin Doyle from Reading for a club record fee believed to be about £6.5m.

Here's a good overview of previous and potential English transfers...

I still don't see why SAF is so high on Valencia. Based on what I've read (never really got to watch him), he can create for others (which is nice) but doesn't exactly have a knack for the goal. Surely, United can get better players than just Valencia.

Also, please don't give him the #7.

From what I've read, SAF is aware of his lack of a scoring touch in Valencia, but wants him for his pace and skill on the wings.

Benzema is the replacement in mind to score goals.
