The best club in Europe have held talks with David Villa. Make it happen, Pep and co!

Nice! A young dude, too. No more golden oldies!!!
They seem very eager on 23-year-old Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko too, supposedly offering a £25million deal. With good reason too, he was last season's Bundesliga top scorer.

Thats the same thing Manchester United and Milan people were saying about Kaka and Ronaldo.

Florentino seems to always get what he wants. See the first Galaticos era to see what I mean.

This is not to mention that Metzelder, Drenthe, Heinze, Salgado, and Torres would be on the bench. Oh yeah, the best effin keeper in the world is there to clean up any mess.
I’ve heard Real would like to say goodbye to all of the Dutch players.

The Guardian supposedly got a hold of a list of the players Madrid want to get rid of. All of the Dutchies aside from RvN were included. Along with Heinze and Mamadou Diarra. Along with a couple of more that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Rejected by Wigan? That'll bruise the old ego.

I think Javy Saviola is another.

                  Re: The Transfer Thread

Valencia's David Villa is now suddenly off the market, unless an "amazing offer" is received...

Manchester City have agreed an £18 million deal for Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz.

Chelsea have matched Liverpool's £17.5 million bid for Portsmouth fullback Glen Johnson.

Arsenal have completed a £10 million deal for Ajax's Belgian centre half Thomas Vermaelen.

Fulham look close to securing a £6 million deal for Wigan mid/defender Paul Scharner. However, Hamburg and Sunderland are both still keen on the Austrian. Wigan have already made their own adjustments after signing Espanyol mid Jordi Gomez for £1.5 million and are reportedly interested signing his teammate, striker Raul Tamudo for around £2 million.

Tevez turns down "lucrative" 5 year deal to stay at Old Trafford, because they " lack ambition"

Chelsea and Manchester City, front runners to sign him.

No offense to any United fan. But I can't believe anybody actually thought he was going to stay at Old Trafford to begin with. The guy thought he should have played more and I really think it pissed him off that he wasn't first choice at United.

Considering the money he was offered, I think that was a pretty good offer. Plus, he may have been first team come the start of the season. Last year, no way considering the amount of players United have who ARE better than him.

Thanks for the two years Carlos Tevez.

I think if his advisor Kia Joorabchian wasn't in the picture, he would of signed back at United.
