    Re: The Transfer Thread

NBC has put in too much money, time and effort to back out of the PL now.

Which I'm fine with, Fox's soccer coverage in general is an absolute **** show

      because EPL >>> Bundesliga.

I mean you dont stop going after the NFL rights just because you already have the NHL rights.

I wouldn't be surprised if ESPN literally writes down "More than NBC, however much that is" on their bid sheet when the rights come up.

I'm betting we'll see it spread out over 2-3 networks. I do miss ESPN doing the weekly Monday night matches. And I didn't mind Fox's EPL coverage, because they would replay the matches all day on Sat and Sun on the Fox Soccer channel.

Only if NBC bids more than Fox or ESPN. And if Fox and ESPN do a joint bid, they could easily top what NBC bids. My guess is that ESPN and Fox will jointly bid where ESPN gets one game on Saturday, as well as the Monday night game, and Fox gets the rest. In other words, the way it used to be. The question becomes, then, how much NBC is willing to pony up to retain the rights. They paid $250 mil the last time, and they would likely have to go higher this time around.

Wow didn't know the rights were up for bidding again. Let's go NBC.

FSC doesn't exist any more. It became FXX. They'd probably replay some on FS2, and it might be worth getting Fox Soccer 2 Go again. Though I would hope they'd offer free streaming like NBC does if they end up with it.

I doubt they put games on FS1 because that would conflict with college football.

College Football doesnt start still after the morning kickoffs are done(9Am here)

Plus they still have Fox Soccer Plus.

FOX, FS1, FS2 FS+, Fox sports Go and ESPN. They'll be fine. And if they wanted to, FX and FXX

I would hope that they don't put anything on FS+. That's not exactly available to everyone.

Basically, let's just hope NBC keeps it. The way they do it is perfect.

They could put Spurs games on FS+.

Chelsea are offering Oscar and 50 million for Pogba, per BeIn Sports.

Fox better not get it, especially since they don't have a free streaming app like NBC does. They still tried to charge $150 for their UCL online streaming package.
