They also signed Renato Sanches from Benfica for around €35. I believe he's still 18 and made his first team debut earlier this season.

I'm guessing one of Benatia, Javi Martinez, or Boateng will be leaving.

I'm aware any anger I have at the situation is a bit harsh, and I'm aware the day was coming, but it doesn't make it any less ****ty.

His comments about Götze and everything around that situation when he left are not easy to forget.

I think the timing is just a bit odd, also, as they're playing so well in Tuchel's first year in charge.

In fairness though, he has spent most of his career rejecting their advances and trash talking them whenever he got a chance. He was extremely vocal about Gotze leaving as well.

I mean it's fine to want to go back where you grew up, but to do it like this is pretty crappy. This is definitely way worse than Lewandowski/Gotze.
