West Ham really looking to make a run at Europa League it seems. Margins will be slim for Bilic

We can just hope he's 16/17 Chicharito and not 15/16 Chicharito.

It'll be nice to see him play more frequently again. I'll be happy if his form against Man. United is more LvG Little Pea and he's more SAF Little Pea against everyone else.

I'm sure 90% of people's initial exposure to Ray Hudson is him yelling and screaming after a Messi goal. And they don't bother to stick around for when he's actually clever, insightful and always rooting for lesser known/appreciated players to break out and steal the show.

I've got a lot of time for Ray tbh, even though I find him obnoxious as well.

The dude legitimately loves this game in a way that many other English commenters don't. He's painted as a Barca fanboy, which is definitely is, but he will has zero problem slating them for playing poorly, or praising a team playing well against them. Even when he's doing games for lower level Liga teams, like EVERY single time a player makes a really good pass, or tackle or whatever, Ray nearly loses his ****.

The guy just loves football so much, I have a hard time really hating on him.

Ray's actually like that in real-life. Very energetic and passionate. I met him a few times when he was D.C. united's manager, hence me calling him just Ray lol.

How crazy is it that Real's 2nd 11 had 3 guys leave and all go to Bayern (James), Chelsea (Morata), and either Chelsea again or Man City (Danilo).

Virgil van Dijk has asked to leave the club and is not training with the team.

I'm sure it's true, but I doubt Liverpool will accept any bids for him.

Supposedly both Coutinho and Paulinho were desperate attempts by Barca to get more Brazilians in the team so that Neymar wouldn't want to leave. Pretty sure Coutinho is Neymar's best friend.

That's the part that was believable to me (BFFs forever) but I also believe that he's seen as cover for Neymar if he leaves.

He's good but he's no Neymar. They should throw a huge chunk of that money at Dybala if he does go.

I actually think he's seen as more of a successor to Iniesta.

TBH I could see them going after Eriksen if he has another good season. Rakitic seems to have dipped heavily and Eriksen could pretty easily replace his output.

Honestly, this Neymar transfer will be interesting just to see the impact it has on the rest of the transfer window.
