I'm sure 90% of people's initial exposure to Ray Hudson is him yelling and screaming after a Messi goal. And they don't bother to stick around for when he's actually clever, insightful and always rooting for lesser known/appreciated players to break out and steal the show.Comment

The dude legitimately loves this game in a way that many other English commenters don't. He's painted as a Barca fanboy, which is definitely is, but he will has zero problem slating them for playing poorly, or praising a team playing well against them. Even when he's doing games for lower level Liga teams, like EVERY single time a player makes a really good pass, or tackle or whatever, Ray nearly loses his ****.
The guy just loves football so much, I have a hard time really hating on him.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Virgil van Dijk has asked to leave the club and is not training with the team.

Re: The Transfer Thread
Supposedly both Coutinho and Paulinho were desperate attempts by Barca to get more Brazilians in the team so that Neymar wouldn't want to leave. Pretty sure Coutinho is Neymar's best friend.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
That's the part that was believable to me (BFFs forever) but I also believe that he's seen as cover for Neymar if he leaves.
He's good but he's no Neymar. They should throw a huge chunk of that money at Dybala if he does go.

Re: The Transfer Thread
I actually think he's seen as more of a successor to Iniesta.
TBH I could see them going after Eriksen if he has another good season. Rakitic seems to have dipped heavily and Eriksen could pretty easily replace his output.
Honestly, this Neymar transfer will be interesting just to see the impact it has on the rest of the transfer window.Comment
