Idk…the guy who brought Kulu to Juve is at Spurs now and Conte tried to get him last year at Inter.

If they can get Kulu for the price that’s been reported that’s a better deal than Traore who didn’t want to play wingback anyway.

      Oh you and your logic.

Regardless, we all know how it ends (except without the Conte trophy).

^Sky amongst others are saying Arsenal are surprised to learn that he is in Spain as no deal has even been agreed. Is this another Peter Odemwingie fiasco?

            The Transfer Thread

Looks like Dele to Everton on a permanent is done. Conte might not win anything but he’s already amongst the most successful managers at Spurs just by getting that bum off their books.

Also shipped Ndombele back off to Lyon on loan albeit with a hilarious 65 mil buy option lol.

I think that's Arsenal being coy and trying to do as much PR surrounding this window as possible. They know what the perception is right now, which is basically that they're crippling what's left of the squad when they have a legitimate shot at returning to the Champions League.

Regardless, talks are off after salary couldn't be agreed to (SHOCKING).

Arsenal are set to not strengthen, only weaken their squad, and I'm reminded of the Summer of 2015 (only bringing in Cech when the league was there to win).

Ousmane Dembele close to signing for Chelsea on a 4 year deal is the latest. Reunited with Tuchel.

Not only back on but more than as six month loan. Damn.

Ditching him and Ozil's wages must save you no end?

If it happens it won't be today, it will be a pre-contract. Makes no sense for us or the player to move now. We'd have to pay a transfer fee and Dembele wouldn't get any of his signing on bonus or more importantly, his agent would miss out on a lot of $.

We'd also have to get rid of a winger too which would mean parting with someone on big wages which is getting harder and harder these days.

Talent-wise I'd love him but we already have an injury prone winger in Pulisic.

Currently it looks like we’d be contributing to wages until Summer, and then Barca alone for a year, but his wages off the books come Summer is massive.

We needed at least one addition…but if the right move doesn’t happen, I’m fine with waiting until Summer. The turnover that Edu has done, paid off contracts and no fees regardless, has been huge. He inherited a mess of a squad. Overpaid, underperforming players, that nobody really wanted to pay for.

Aaron Ramsey to Rangers on a loan with a clause to make the move permanent.

If he can stay fit, what a coup.
