Re: The Transfer Thread
Are Barca offloading players then? I thought they were under some sort of Financial Fair Play ruling. Sell one player to allow another to play. Something like that.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
When I first saw the rumor, I was a bit perplexed, but then I remembered that Villa have been willing to spend, and there's the Gerrard connection. I'm not afraid to admit I haven't kept tabs on him very well, but surely being a bigger fish in a small pond (in terms of the squad) may help him.
Similar to Payet at West Ham, perhaps.Comment

I wouldn't be surprised if Origi eventually ends up there this summer, though I think Newcastle might be interested in him too.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Chris Wood undergoing a medical at Newcastle. Surprised Burnley would sell their main striker to a fellow relegation battler.
EDIT: It appears Newcastle triggered his release clause.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Wait … Chris Wood has a release clause and someone actually met it?
Unless Newcastle is actually trying to sabotage Burnley then they are truly going the 2008/9 City route and buying bums like Roque Santa Cruz and Wilfried Bony

Drinksy is off the books at the end of the year and Bakayoko after next year but his loan is two years so he’s all but gone minus whatever salary we’re supplementing [emoji2363]
They can happily take Ross though. Hell I’d fly to London to drive his a** north. Gas up the plane Brahv…I need a wingman and/or someone who can drive on that side of the road
