If this PSG deal for Messi is really this close to being done, his people must have been talking to them for quite a while. Interesting.

I'm wondering if Messi's camp had second thoughts about taking a significant pay cut to stay with Barcelona when there's clearly clubs willing to pay top dollar. I don't know how "crushed" he is about leaving Barcelona when he wanted out last summer.

Tbf it does seem to be largely about the upper management.

I think if they had been replaced sooner and the barca team had actual direction things would be different.

Yep. This is a culmination of years of absurdly poor management/leadership.

          You love to see it.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer club!

And they still won't win the Champions League.

Was hoping he might go to a Premier League team just for the entertainment value, but no, he's gonna be playing matches against Strasbourg and Brest that none of us are actually going to watch. Still going to be jarring seeing him in a none Barca shirt.

I mean what's the difference between Stade Brest and Rayo or Cadiz?

I was going to post similar thoughts this morning. It's too bad because he'd have to bring it every week in the Premier League since even the bottom 10 are capable of beating the top teams any weekend and the games are widely available to watch in North America. Not even sure what network French league games are on here in Canada. Hell, I'd even enjoy watching him in a Manchester United kit even though I can't stand them.

Not much but with all due respect to Lille and Monaco, I don't they're the same rivals to PSG as Real Madrid or Atletico to Barcelona. Got to believe they win the league by at least 15 points.

True, it's the same. And most people didn't watch those La Liga matches either. Just would have been cool seeing him play against Premier League teams in Premier League stadiums every week.

Levy is trying to save these morons from themselves by holding onto Kane and we still won’t take the hint. Stop going after this geriatric for ****s sake.

Some dude who destroyed Serie A last season has signed for Chelsea. I wonder if he can adjust to the league.

Now his ankles are a horse of a different color.

I'm anxiously awaiting this nice stimmy from Abu Dhabi.

Hopefully he gets a lot of practice connecting with Premier League Crosses or we're in trouble.
