Wasn't there reports in the past of Pep being upset or frustrated at him, especially regarding his attitude in training when not starting?

Still, it made my eyes open further this morning when I read it.

Okay, just saw maybe him and Pep just got into it training last week but I thought it had happened before, also—who knows.

Supposedly Cancelo squared up to Pep in training but who knows. Cancelo got benched during the WC for Dalot and then lost his spot to 18yr old Rico Lewis.

I need to see numbers before I really know how I feel.

Edit: £12m and contract to 2024 with option for another year. He’s an upgrade on Samvi and Elbeny, so all good.

Maybe from the Atletico side but he has sucked in a Spurs shirt which is crazy because he was good in the same role for Wolves

So was in the market for an EPL team to follow and Leeds might as well have held a big sign saying "yanks welcome" so guess I found my team.

Meanwhile Chelsea's locker room starting to look like a gas station bathroom with all the s*** on the wall.
(not a knock on the player's quality, more of the front office seemingly buying players hoping one of them will solve their problems)

Why? Is it going to be like thinking you like a girl only to go out with her and discover she pronounces it as me-mes

I can. Mohsiri basically kneecapped them when he put the club on the market before the end of the transfer window. Every report I read about an Everton bid or an Everton target they all had the same refrain "Looking for something more stable"

Beyond the already comical mismanagement of the team, they managed to bungle the entire window by firing their manager and announcing the club is for sale during the window. Legendary bag fumble.

Regardless of what other people say, if you're at all unsure, I would just try a couple clubs on for size as part of the process. I ended up supporting Arsenal because my first experiences with the game were via the '98 World Cup and Thierry Henry being a spectacle, then I found out he played for Arsenal, and that's how I ended up here, thankfully also ended up agreeing with the club on much of it's philosophy.

Either way, each club has a history, and outside of Everton right now, many of them have outward philosophies you can balance against the things you believe/think you believe right now. I re-assessed everything in 2010 when I started to deep dive into the sport and really get stuck in, and if you want a hilarious story, I went from Arsene Wenger's Arsenal, to Tony Pulis' Stoke City, which coincided with the one year Stoke managed to make the FA Cup Final, also the two clubs and managers could not be more different philosophically. Gave up after a season because it wasn't fun, even though the club were winning at the time, and if you're not enjoying the club winning, what's the point of supporting?

But yeah, tl;dr, try a few look at their history, what they believe in, and choose from there is my suggestion, you may even end up back at Leeds.

I didn't mind Leeds when they got promoted now I kind of dislike them. It's more so the fault of the media coverage though, same with Pulisic at Chelsea.

The coverage here leans hard into Leeds having a coach and players from the US. Same with Chelsea and Pulisic. It's like they have this quota that every broadcast they have to be mentioned regardless of what team is playing or if it's related.

Anyway you can't go wrong with whoever you end up rooting for no matter the reason. After all I like the Steelers because Rod Woodson was a beast in Tecmo Super Bowl back in the day lol.

La Liga whining about the Premier League again, of course fueled by Barca not getting their way in some transfers.

while the "sUpEr LeAgUe AlReAdY eXiStS iTs ThE pReMiEr LeAgUe, FoReHeAd" discourse lacks nuance and has a lot of other issues, the financial disparity of top leagues since coming out of the pandemic has been a real problem. Obviously Chelsea is an outlier, but them spending more than the Bundesliga is comical.
