Re: The Transfer Thread
During the FA Cup game, the commentator mentioned Rodriguez would be signed on loan for the rest of the season. Not a bad move by Rafa considering that other than Benayoun, the other wingers on Liverpool are utter crap. Rodriguez would walk in as the best winger on the team for crying out loudComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Here's something interesting if true, Freddy Adu made mention on his twitter about a possible deal to Hull City.

Re: The Transfer Thread
Wouldn't he have issues getting a work permit? Stay away, Freddy. Go to Aris, get some PT, and remind people you can play. Bonus points if you can give up the Twitter fascination.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
I'm sure Phil Brown is loving that Freddy and Jozy are bandying about this move on Twitter...

Pandev finally goes to Inter.
Liking this move a lot. I've been impressed by him on several occasions over the past 2 years, although he hasn't played in a while due to that contract dispute with Lazio.
He's probably going to get time up top, but I'd like to see him eventually deployed on the left by Mourinho and think he'd be a significant upgrade there for the Nerazzurri.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
I'm interested in what happens with Showcross. He has a reported £20M price tag, with a bunch of big clubs reportedly interested in obtaining his services. I would love to see him in a Lillywhite shirt, but not for £20M.
Another rumored Spurs move has them obtaining Maxi Rodriguez from Athletico in a loan move which would involve the swapping of Bentley. God I'd love to see that twat go elsewhere.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
And does David James really want to be the 2nd choice keeper for Spurs? I just don't see how that improves his chances of becoming England's #1.
He'd be far better off at Pompey, especially if he can help save them from relegation in the 2nd half of the season. Of course getting paid may be of a minor importance to him also. I'd love to have him at the Lane, but it just doesn't make logical sense for him.
Hopefully Spurs recall O'Hara from his loan at Pompey, he could be of value in the MF this season for them.Comment

There is talk that Arsenal is interested in James although I can't see Wenger making a keeper change when they actually have legit trophy aspirations.Comment

Re: The Transfer Thread
I thought Akinfeev's name would be going around a lot more right now. Would make a ton of sense if Wenger went after him, young and not English.
And, Maicon=best right back in the world. Would love to see him in the premComment

Re: The Transfer Thread
Cesc is not going anywhere...There's always the possibility that he could go back to Barca or even Real, but I doubt whether that would happen unless they offer the moon for him
Cesc himself has said that he's happy at Arsenal and enjoys it here
Pity about Merida leaving, but he wasn't getting a lot of chances
and now has a chance to go back hom,e and performComment
