Likewise. Although I'd rather get to watch him play in England rather than see him go to Real Madrid.

I don't get to see much La Liga.

I agree, it would be super neat if we got to watch such an exciting and promising player help the douchiest team with the most obnoxious and entitled fan base re-gain their stranglehold on the prem, instead of being in another league where we wouldn't ever have to worry about him.

Heard they're going with an opening bid of £85-87mill. He's still not worth even that imo. Didn't do much at the Euros to justify that high a price tag.

                Agreed. Payet was far superior.

Nobody is worth that price IMO.

Rejected. Asking for 100M upfront with 8m in incentives. Hopefully that kills the negotiations.

So, because Deschamps used him as a DM (why???), he didn't do much? Deschamps didn't utilise him well, but Pogba himself did a good enough job at what he was asked to do.

Yes but where is he going to play for United? Most likely in defensive midfield. He just didn't impress me enough to warrant that high a price tag. Matuidi did as good a job as him imo.

If he does end up with United and Mourinho plays him solely as a DM and not a box-to-box mid (at the very least), then that's a huge waste of money.

The fact that people are saying Matuidi was just as good as Pogba highlights how Deschamps criminally wasted Pogba, especially in the final. You honestly telling me Matuidi and Sissoko were the better mids for France? Hell nah.

They certainly had more impact on the game.

Totally agree. Early reports I listened to on Bein Sports suggested Mourinho at the moment is going with a 4-2-3-1 formation with the front four of Martial on the left, Mikhitarayan on the right, Ibra up front with Rooney just behind. That would suggest Pogba in the CDM role if he comes in. This is just my opinion, if he arrives I wouldn't be surprised to see Rooney's place the most under threat should Jose want to push PP further up field. Move Martial in the hole where I think he should be and put Pogba on the left.

And every club would certainly want Matuidi and Sissoko over Pogba.

Going by a single preseason match (vs Wigan), it would more likely be Carrick/Blind sitting in front of the defence and Pogba playing CM/B2B.

Lots of smoke with Pogba over the past day, but I'll just sit here and not get caught in the hype train (really hard to do).
