2. From the "Casual" tab on the main screen, you can set up a private match there. I believe the "code" is needed when you are cross platform (if it is x platform) or are not direct friends.

Thanks! Turns out right before my brother passed almost 3y ago we both bought and never installed 2K21, so just this morning I installed it. Seems about the same as 2019 and I like it. When brother and I played we never used the green grid because we didn't like what it did graphically to an otherwise immersive looking environment. That, plus even in pro mode one can get really good at throwing darts and the uncertainty that comes from no grid, but still able to assess slope to some degree albeit crudely by comparison, makes scoring much more like my RW golf game. I did my first event in the PGA Tour mode and shot 75 with some missed short putts, but that will improve. We used the up/down arrows and would pan side-to-side to note if their numerical value changed and also use the camera view to get down very low on the ground behind the ball to try to assess slope. And we got very good at it, but those -9 or better rounds were as rare as they should be and so were extra meaningful when one put it all together. Great to be back and at least playing single player mode. I'm hoping a friend joins in soon I think it's a great way to keep your golf brain alive during the winter months here in Colorado.

Is it possible to download courses from TGCtours.com and install them into 2K21 on Xbox? Or from another source?

No, you cannot download courses to your console. All user-created courses in the TGC/PGA 2K series are housed on servers and require online connection to play.

TGCTours exists outside of 2K/HB Studios...they provide a 3rd-party location for scores to be displayed from their societies, and offer a place to keep track of courses they receive as submissions from designers. They don't actually have any courses on their website...all courses are stored in the 2K servers.
