I looked all over for a post like this. This is the first version of TW i've purchased on release day, and I also bought Season Pass this year, but I was trying to figure out if my discount was being applied or not to the course prices. On the PS3 it doesn't show any type of discount being applied at checkout. So i'm glad I found this.

quick question though, I've read a few of the DLC courses are required for the PGA tour in Career mode, anyone know which courses those are?

DLC courses are in the PGA TOUR schedule, but are not "required" as you can substitute a course you already have if you wish for that event.

Like stated above you can swap in courses if you don't have them.

However someone with the game might be able to confirm it with the schedule for career mode, but from what I saw on a post b4 the game came out you can get away with limited DLC.

The TPC 4 pack is worth it since they all have events.

Out of the 14 pack, you really only need 4 if you have the historic edition. Pinehurst, Colonial, Whistling Straits and Bethpage. Colonial is the one tour stop, and I guess they probably made Bethpage stuck as the only place you can do that first FedEx cup event(it rotates with Liberty which is now gone and Ridgewood which has never been made). The other 2 are supposed to be in the majors rotation.

The rest of the 14 pack might be in career mode(minus the fantasy which is a big waste of money) as fake events. The 2 euro courses really would never host the British Open and the other 4 are real courses, but not used on the current PGA tour in real life.

I can get the Masters Historic Edition for $67 is it worth that and does it have all the courses including the dlc?

Can't believe noone is pissed about EA charging for these courses and in past years you could purchase the courses with coins you earned
