I do want to add though, I know that nothing said so far by anyone in this group had actual any intent to incite a political conversation in any way.

But all it takes is one person who isn't familiar with this group of guys to see one post and take it the wrong way and start a conversation that wasn't asked for or intended.

Not trying (or going) to convert the opinions of those on this board, but I really believe men would stand to benefit from watching LPGA events.

I think the product is great and personally think men could improve their own game from watching the ladies swing it. Too many crappy or decent amateur/weekend warrior golfers see Rory smash it 350 down the fairway and try to copy his swing, when instead they could potentially become a more consistent player by emulating a Nelly Korda or Jin Young Ko. Outside of Morikawa, I don't think there are two better swings than these two ladies.

Anecdotally, I've seen improvement in my own game, namely consistency, by modeling my swing after the Korda sisters and doing the same drills they practice.

Re: watching women's golf, I agree that it can be instructive to watch the ladies play, the issue is that it just doesn't hold my interest for very long (for whatever reason). I have a hard enough time staying awake during the average vanilla PGA tournament.

On another note, a buddy of mine went to the LIV event at Bedminster and said it was a lot of fun. He isn't a huge golf fan (really not at all) so he didn't have much to say about the actual golf, but he said the event was a good time. For whatever that's worth.

Well it is an event... a guy on tiktok showed plenty of it. They're golfing with music in speakers on the entire course. It's almost like a concert with some golf.
