I've got that option in effect, but that only applies to ghost scores which will appear in "Play Now" mode... it works as advertised. What I'm speaking of is the fact that ghost players/balls in a society tournament will have their scores reported on the between hole main tournament leaderboard, as being anywhere from 1 to 14 holes ahead of the hole they're actually playing with you on the course.

It kinda kills the suspension when I know the guy I'm playing with is going to be +2 after 7 holes, when in my timeline I've just seen him finish the first hole at even par. In a small Society (a dozen players), it's really a spoiler because their name is going to be on the front page of the leaderboard. I want to see how everyone else is faring on the leaderboard, but not at the expense of spoiling the "now-ness" of the round I'm playing with a ghost player. It just takes the "live" feel out of the round.

Do they release fixes and additional content similar to other sports games? Im on the edge of getting this, but just cant commit yet.

Moving away from Unity might not be so simple. I'm guessing the course designer relies on the flexibility of the Unity engine.

I get that it is not as graphically impressive as EA's Rory game but I'm impressed with the variety I see in user designed courses and the positives outweigh the negatives.

I remember they patched this in TGC1 but think they didn't do anything about it in TGC2. Poor design.

Hopefully they will be more active in post launch support with 2K on board. They were real good about updating TGC1 but not so much TGC2.

Maximum Games, their former publisher had a big impact on their lack of support post TGC2 release.

Haven't had a chance to play this yet but just wanted to say how much appreciate the number of posts with a "I don't really care for it but I'm glad you enjoy it" theme to them. Compared to some of the other forums around here, it's refreshing to see that mindset rather than the "this game sucks...you're just an idiot/HB fanboy with no real understanding of golf" posts that I see elsewhere. I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised considering the "gentleman's game" reputation of golfers in general but it's cool.

Sorry if this is too off-topic but wanted to voice that. Won't be offended if a mod feels that it needs to be deleted.
