There is still the obstacle of getting perfect tempo with me not being able to watch my character's animation -- but I adjust to getting the timing down while swinging "blindly", if you will.

So far I am liking the results

Glad to hear it man, it’s kind of like looking down at the ball in real life then looking up to see where the ball is headed just as you would look at the TV screen after your shot to see where it’s headed. Many times IRL if my head comes up too soon my shot if off but if I keep my head on the ball and don’t peek I get a nice straight shot.

So pointless that you took the time to post in it.

Next time, if you find a thread to be pointless, ignore it. Let the mods do the moderating.

Thus far, the only thing wrong or pointless in this thread has been these two posts which are closer to trolling than anything else has been.

You know what I came to that realization, too lol. At first it just didn't feel "natural", but it makes so much sense!

Thank you for the tip! Turned out to be the best one I've gotten anywhere

Try the cradle method. It works for me.

Re: Straight swing

I tried that cradle method, with no success. But everyone is different.

Like vertman suggested, looking down at my controller -- while using the pinch method -- has been greatly successful for me. Once you get your timing down (which is very much possible to achieve) you realize you don't need to even see the screen while swinging. I've even figured out my timing on half swings. I've had rounds as good as -15, and 4-round tournaments as low as -32. Not low enough for these online tourneys where dudes are shooting -65 (BS), but still pretty low.

You know, it is posts like this that ruin these forums. Apparently whomever posts them is so superior in skills that the improvement of OTHERS is inconsequential. To be concise, if a thread is too basic for you, SKIP it! But understand that others - below your level, it seems - may garner some points of instruction that will help THEM! Get over yourself...........................
