It's what makes their dynasty theirs.
this is true. Sorry, commando....didn't mean to get on your back, haha.

It's a good start, though. keep up the good work.

Rejean Houle answers to the media before Montreal takes on the Sabres. He discusses the trades me made. Everyone is outraged with Houle with the players he got in return for the Kovalev deal.
Houle also did some good trades to get Doan from Phoenix and Gagne, Downie and Giroux from Philadelphia. Time will tell how things will turn out, but everyone is still expecting him to screw up and make a disastrous trade.

Montreal @ Buffalo:

Montreal wins 4-3 in OT as Shane Doan gets a hattrick in his Habs debut. Doan who is happy to be on the Habs now to be with his second cousin Carey Price. Koivu also had a strong game getting a goal and 2 assists. This game makes Houle's trades look genius with the play of Doan and the outcome of this game.

First Period
BUF: Roy(PP) (Hecht, Tallinder)

Second Period
BUF: Bouck (Pominville, Sekera)

Third Period
MTL: Doan (Markov, Price)

MTL: Doan(PP) (Hainsey, Koivu)
Buf: Vanek (Roy, Kotalik)

OT
MTL: Doan (Koivu, Gagne)

Shots:
Montreal: 38
Buffalo: 23

3 Stars:
1.Shane Doan
2.Saku Koivu
3.Derek Roy

nice win, bro, congrats on the first victory

you've been updating at a very nice tempo, I like that. Not like me...when I am enjoying something I do like 561 updates in rapid succession, haha.

Nice Dynasty with a clean format.

May I recommend using the same format but with some color to make it easier to read?

Re: My Montreal franchise on NHL 09

Rejean Houle meets with the media on Monday morning. Rejean Houle appears confident, and maybe a bit cocky after their 2 wins on friday and saturday.

Reporter: Rejean, you only beat Buffalo and Toronto. Don't you think its too early to be this happy this early?

RH: Well look how the team played. If it wasn't for the trades I made maybe we would only be 1-1 because without Shane Doan we wouldn't of beat Buffalo.

Reporter: Are you giving yourself too much credit?

RH: No I dont think so. I know I made the right moves. You people like to come out and think I don't have my priorities straight but I know I should get the credit for those wins. As good as the team played, I made the team more complete by getting the new players (Gagne, Doan, Downie, Hainsey, Giroux, Lavallee).

Reporter: You traded Kovalev. What were you thinking when you made that trade?

RH: We got back Ron Hainsey back. I drafted him in the first round in 2000. I always thought highly of him. To get somebody good, you got to trade somebody good. So I offered Kovalev. With Lavallee we got a young robust player who will provide depth in the organization.

Reporter: Were you on anything making that trade?

RH: No

Reporter: Yea Right !
