Thanks for reading! I was so angry after I realized what had happened. I went to go make a trade for him but I decided that it was my fault it happened so I'm just going to have to suck it up and move on. It sucks not just because I lost a prospect but because I had very specific plans for Klepis, and he had a very specific role to fill. Loosing him actually alters my 2011-2012 draft strategy.

Grabner is fantastic, he pairs very well with Duchene, both being very good skaters

20 game update!

Team news:
D John Micheal Liles has returned from injury ahead of schedule and will resume his normal duties. while Liles admits his elbow is still tender he feels confident enough in it to play. LW Daniel Winnik will again be sitting in the press box as a healthy scratch.

Still first line or bust at this point, and goal tending has been falling apart. Mueller could have 20 goals by now but he hits the posts at least twice a game, no joke.

Player interview: Avs captain Adam Foote
"It's been hard on the guys no doubt. With so many injuries and a lot of key players for us missing games, a lot of the kids having to fill in, it can really disrupt everything your trying to accomplish. But at the end of the day were not getting it done and we have to step it up, everyone here has to. It doesn't take long to fall out of playoff contention and the way we are going that is going to be soon"

Tough breaks all around Dynasty. There should be a way to reverse waivers/trades/etc.

Yeah man, I am still angry about that, but it was my own fault.

Grabner is one of my favorite players in this game for sure.

Injury update

D Erik Johnson Will miss the next one to two weeks with bruised ribs

Press conference:
"Thank you all for gathering today, I felt the need to hold this conference today in response to last nights disgrace against the Edmonton oilers, in which we los 10-5. While it is clear we are struggling mightily this season, I would like to reinforce my confidence in our system, and what we have going here in Colorado. Our core is young and talented and we will soon be on a course for post season success, as for this season I believe our fate rests squarely on our goaltenders and I wish to make this very clear, I will not be bringing in anyone. It is up to Budaj and Elliott to find their way and their contracts depend on it. I expect them to be professional about this and turn the corner on what has been a miserable first quarter of the season. I understand, as do all fans and media that the mass amount of injuries our team has suffered is difficult to deal with and that can in turn disrupt and alter the expectations of your club. Make no mistake here, the guys that have been filling in for us have done a fantastic job stepping into a line up and getting what they were asked to do, done. It comes down to our goal tending, and our fate rests on them.

Watch Grabner blow past everyone and deposit a nice goal behind Backstrom

Everyone started really pulling together at points in the last ten, most of my core guys are healthy and playing well. Grabner went red hot this past ten games. I don't know what is with those high scoring games but it happened.. was really weird.

Like I said above Grabner exploded over the past ten games, many multi point efforts, one hat trick and at least two, two goal games. But I would also like to point out Tomas Fleischmann's numbers. Fantastic!

Bonus video: Top line Tic-Tack-Toe

Goal break down:
Lightning D was trying to clear the zone, Duchene laid a hit on him just before he could release the puck. Milan Hejduk slams into the glass just ahead of the play, attempting to lay the hit himself. The puck squirts free and Hejduk scoops it up and immediately slides it to Duchene, who sees Grabner flying down the ice. Icing on the cake, Duchene slides a nice gentle pass out into the middle and Grabner finishes it off with a one-timer top shelf past Roloson GOOOOOAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!!
