I traded Kotalik since he was doing horrible for a top 6 fwd think he only had 1 point being a sniper. I signed him and Penner to add scoring but turns out younger wingers putting up better points ,C.Atkinson and M.Mayorov especially. I was suprised to get a 2nd rnd pick so when they were interestedit was better option than having Kotalik blocking a younger foward since my team is rebuilding I need to find ice time for players who are producing to help them grow.

Keeping up the rebuilding mode trading vets for picks. Next season prob have to change it up and start trading picks and prospects to make a playoff run. I gotta watch cap room I come close to minimum and it blocks any trades I can make. C.Atkinson took his spot and has put up good points so not too worried about any dropoff and it gives more of the younger players chance to show if they can hack it in the NHL or trade them off if they are busts.

Too bad Kotalik didn't pan out for you, he's doing great in my Sens dynasty but he benefits from playing a lot with Nash and Spezza. So far I think in 68 games he has 18G, 23A, 7 PPG.

Yeah seems good about NHL GM players could have great season in one franchise and not be great in others. I remember some games like Madden kinda easy as same players were great each and every dynasty. I tried playing him with Brassard at C then on Vermettes line and seems he was only one not producing. I thought it would be Penner not scoring....

Games have been freezing alot on me lately dont know if dynasty file is messed up or ps3. I'll try to get updates if it clears up

All the def prospects are up on the NHL team except D.Savard. Petry,Moore, Gudbranson, Rundbald all playing well so far. I dont need a top #10 pick but might still get one since I have Fla 1st rnd pick this year from F.Tyutin trade in offseason and 3 2nd rnd picks(A.Kotalik trade to NYR, Car 2nd rnd pick for signing D C.Barker). It will be year #3 so hopefully noone will need to step right in they can develop better. Looking to restock with quantity over quality as my AHL team is running low on defense and I want the AHL team filled with all my prospects hate when they add random veteran signings.
