Which do you think will be your next Team up ?

Reason I ask is I plan on doing a 12 Team Double elimination tournament with your classic teams and can get started now if I know which will be the upcoming 12th team so I can setup the initial bracket as I setup brackets by Year/Record.

I've been winging it. Last year I put the 29 teams plus modern Panthers, Texans, and Jags, in season mode. I created all coaches, but last year they had classic coaches and their playbooks IN THE GAME...Gibbs, Landry, Vermeil, Ditka, Walsh, Lombardi, Flores, I forget which others, and EA took all of this OUT. Worst thing that happened for 16 IMO. You have to research. Walsh is west coast, Landry is 4-3, etc. Very few 3-4 defenses in the 70s, but that changed in early 80's I think with Chargers...Parcells' Giants. 60's was run heavy except AFL teams, 70's was run more than pass, 80's, more passing evolved....

Do you have a choice? 79 Oilers, 79 Chargers, 75 Cards, 80 Eagles? You guys need to give me some feedback on the teams that I've already done in terms of playability. I think several teams probably have db's that are too good. Would like to open up passing if it's a problem. Defenses on these rosters are pretty tough across the board.

75 Cards would be my choice of those listed but I will always opt for the older teams ......... any you do will be very welcomed !

I really like the '64 Browns, OJ's Bills (or Cookie Gilchrist Bills), Sayers/Butkus Bears, '79 Saints from your earlier posted list of Teams.

CLEARLY, someone should.

Look at the mod communities. Across multiple platforms and multiple sports games.

This seems like an untapped market.

I'm hopeful at some point the Players Unions capitalize on this. The NFLPA has, minimally. (APF2k)

I'd love to see them build on that.

The 1975 Cardinals are up. If you don't know much about the Cardinals' history, it's worth finding out about. For example, they are the oldest original NFL franchise still in operation. With regards to these St. Louis Cards. Jim Hart was as underrated a QB as you will find. A great deep ball passer, with the likes of the great Mel Gray on the other end. Terry Metcalf was as good a back as any in his day, and put fear in defenses trying to stop him. There is Conrad Dobler, who some say was the dirtiest player of all time. You have HOF'ers in Dan Dierdorf, Roger Werhli, and Jackie Smith. The durable Smith had some of the greatest hands of any TE to ever play the game, and was a shoe-in HOF'er at the time of his retirement. The 78 Cowboys called him back into action because of an injury to one of their TE's, and Jackie is now only remembered by many, unjustly, for one of the most famous dropped passes of all time in Super Bowl 13. You'll also find Jackie on that Cowboys team on this same roster, as a matter of fact.
