Gilbert has been in the league since 2014.... 5 years experience is correct.

I did notice they had Jordan Chunn as a rookie though. And a few other players incorrect

I agree partly, but every where u look all websites states he has 2 years experience. He was used as an example there is a ton of more players that are not correct.

I pride myself on accurate rosters and noway for us to fix this ourselves. I already asked they will not patch a way for us to edit years pro. We can finally create players again and give them years pro but thats it noway to fix current players on the game.

I can fix height and weights its a long extra task but we did it last year, but the years pro thing is irritating.

The longer you wait the more things get out of our control as more players get placed on IR that was not injured week 1 which this roster would be based off of.

They do not make a habit of fixing a lot of that stuff. I was told the players info was done so much better this year.

I am okay with say a player listed on main menu 7 years pro and u go make a CFM franchise and it changes to year 8 your first season, but this does not work it stays the 7 years pro when in reality the player would be on his 8 pro year for 2019 season.

To be fair years pro is a fairly meaningless stat . Just meaning the years since the players draft class , the important figure would be years accrued which is used IRL for PS and FA eligibility, this has never been represented in Madden , and is the figure quoted often on roster sites

I've never understood why EA Sports wouldn't allow current players in the game on current gen consoles to be edited. Makes no sense to me. What's the big deal in not allowing us as consumers to edit years pro?

It's been asked for as a feature for a while now so it's either something they don't consider a big deal or it's something more in terms of them not being allowed to have this feature in the game.

Wait just a minute here. I remember on past gen consoles (PS2, Xbox 360,etc.) we could edit years pro. So, you saying it has NEVER been represented in Madden is actually not correct. I don't feel like it's fairly meaningless either.

Just like Houston doing these rosters I too am an avid roster person & want things to be as accurate as possible. If they could allow this to be done on older consoles then they sure could easily do it on the newer consoles (PS4, Xbox One, etc.).

It might not be the most important feature in the game that needs to be looked into but it's certainly not meaningless. Thanks.

I was saying it's not a stat that is meaningful in real life , that stat is years accrued , a different number in many cases (especially in fringe players who don't spend their entire career on the main 53 ), it's this number that determines PS eligibility and in what year players become eligible for UFA not years pro , and that this stat has never been in madden , only years in league

I'm all for roster accuracy and more editing options


Edit : this lack of years accrued is why PS eligible players are not eligible in madden , as many players who appear to have been in the league a number of years since their draft year ( ie years pro ) have not accrued those years in league terms thus are still PS eligible
Example : tight end J.P. Holtz came out in the 2016 draft and has been around various PS since will need creating , he's been in the league 3 years ( 3 years pro) but has zero years accrued and thus is still PS eligible , and could be considered better represented as a rookie , or anywhere in between as long as you get his age correct
