Completed My Final 8 Team Demo for the Madden 21 File. (NFC EAST & NFC WEST )

GT Playmakers24532 or search 2003CLASSIC

Added the 2003 Arizona Cardinals.

They have a couple of young future Pro Bowl players in SS Adrian Wilson, LG Leonard Davis and Rookie WR Anquan Boldin.

Yeah he really helped to jump start Anquan Boldin's career.

Boldin is a guy who kinda gets lost because AZ wasn't very good early in his career and the Cardinals aren't exactly a hype team when it comes to classic rosters.

But dude had an incredible career.

This was also the 1st time I created Blake on a file and had him actually playing. The last time I did that was the East Carolina Alumni Team roster.

He was always a very good deep ball thrower especially with those Bengals team when he had Darnay Scott and Carl Pickens.

re: Playmakers Madden 23 XBOX NG 90's All Decade Teams

Blake, Pickens, and Scott are one of the most under-appreciated trio of the 90s, maybe all time. to think, at tennessee, carl pickens and alvin harper played together. in the 80s and 90s, Tennessee was a football factory like you said the other day.

re: Playmakers Madden 23 XBOX NG 90's All Decade Teams

CPU vs CPU (Pro Level Madden 23)

Played a game this morning Cowboys vs Eagles (90's All Decade Rosters) and it felt like a old school NFC East contest.

Cowboys won 22-14 despite playing most of this game without Michael Irvin (He got injured on their 2nd possession of the game).

Aikman played a really smart game without Irvin he was doing check downs to Emmitt out of the backfield and they played a lot of 2 TE sets with Novacek and LaFluer.

Sanders had a really nice INT in the 3rd QTR where he simply went up and out played the Eagles WR for the ball on a quick out pattern they were trying to run.

The best part of this game though was after Philly cut the lead to 19-14 with about 6 minutes left to play the Cowboys did what they did in the 90's they played smash mouth football to kill clock and not allow the Eagles to get the ball back.

Smith had runs of 6, 2, 6, 3, 2, 17, 2 & 2.

That 17 yard run came on a 2 & 18 from the Philly 21 following a Cowboys penalty. You could see that run really broke the Eagles back.

The drive total was 16 plays by Dallas ending in a Boniol FG

One thing I will suggest moving forward with the Classic rosters and this goes back to Madden 20 is don't waist time with regular team playbooks. Use the damn old Generic Playbooks because they appear to keep that old school play style in the game. This has worked incredibly well for me even with my NCAA Alumni Rosters.

The teams will stick with the ground game.

A few more weeks til the new game and then I'll decide if I want to do the 90's file or 2003 season. IF the game isn't but a marginal upgrade I'll go back to older versions of the game and buy my time until the new College game drops

re: Playmakers Madden 23 XBOX NG 90's All Decade Teams

Going to change this thread title to Madden 23 rosters

I will be starting the process on the All Decade Team Rosters this weekend and hopefully once that is complete I'm guessing sometime around October I'll look to add the 2003 Rosters as a 2nd file.

EA once again screwed us on the editing options with player names and changing players body weight is a negative also now. It's like they are telling us hey stop making classic rosters and use our MUT rosters so we can make money off you

PM...wish you were on the PS5.....these rosters are so damn good I am sure.

We had an epiphany last night with the M23 trial.......just crazy.

I will talk all about that on my impressions post today in the main forum. But it is a total 180 in how you actually need to play and approach Madden now. And some old school guys won’t like it. But it was either I do this.....or I will never enjoy a Next Gen Madden or the forth coming NCAA Football game.
