DanSF49's ALL-PRO Sliders

Some of you older OS members may remember me from a few years ago.......well maybe more then a few years ago LOL! Anyway I have been making slider sets for a very long time. Over the last few seasons I have just been watching from the sidelines while working on my own set. I had no intention of releasing a set again this year, but I am seeing some amazing things and I felt that I needed to post these. The last few tweaks have put this game over the top for me and I must say, this is the most fun I have had playing a football video game since 2K5.

If you look below you will see I have Defense PI at 99 and Offensive PI at 1, that change along with putting WR Catching at 65 has brought the DB/WR battle to life. I'm seeing WRs going up and fighting for position and the ball, which is something I have not seen before. Also, I will also warn you now, don't think about throwing late or back across your body, because you will get picked off. I threw 2 picks in the 1st half last night that actually put a smile on my face just because of the way the CPU read what I was doing and jumped it.

DISCLAIMER: I play as SIM as possible, no exploiting the CPU and no switch on defense. I do mix up which defensive position I play on an almost play to play basis. On offense, I don't take control of the WR until after the catch is made. This allows the WR/DB interaction to play out beautifully with the new settings.

Other than that guys, have fun and let me know what you think

DanSF49!!

Your team based sliders from way back when was one of the things that first brought me to this site. It's nice to see you're still doing your thing. These look pretty good, I'll have to give them a try sometime.

Looks good Dan! I was also a fan of your team based sliders back in the day.
I'm interested to see what the WR/Db interactions are like with your set. Also hope this gives the cpu more confidence in passing downfield and not getting a coverage sack and/or dink&dunk all game.
Good jobo kadabo!

Hi DanSF49

Quick question in your penalty sliders are your doing 99 DPI and 1 OPI to create a smaller passing window?

The reason behind these 2 sliders was this. Since WRs don't aggressively go and try to get the ball or fight for it on a jump ball, maybe they are afraid of being called for OFI? So I kept DPI at 99 because it was what I had it set at and the DBs were doing exactly what I would want to see out of them. I then took OFI and put it down to 1 from 99, reason being, this should theoctically allow the WRs to not worry about being called for OPI. All of this, with the incresed WR Catching slider has the WRs going after the ball and fighting the DBs for it.
