Thanks for all the hard work Matt, I really appreciate the effort and your willingness to share your findings in sliders with the community every year.
Start it up. I'm there as well. Have enjoyed all my games today/tonight. Hard to stay out of replay mode - always a good sign!

I really want to use these sliders, but I'm lost on what to do with auto subs. Can anyone help me?

Leave the auto subs as is, with 52 Fatigue it should be decently realistic, can always do manual subs or packages too.

Matt, love the direction this version went, in fact I had already set holding to 70 and offside back to 99 last night just to try it out and saw better line animations and less holding calls. Idk what was causing the chains of holding calls for me but it seems these edits fix it. The QBA thing makes perfect sense too, already seeing more diversity from the CPU QB.

Quick question for you about helpers, specifically switch assist and heat seeker: do you see any slider impact of those two or can they be safely toggled according to user preference without causing significant deviations?

Glad to hear that you were on the same path. I hope all the versions I've come up with can help others learn as well! I like your thinking. Good to hear about QBA and the variety it displays already.

Regarding the helpers, I did not see any significant impact. Although, I haven't tested since ootb because I was trying everything to get the db aggressive animations in check - so it's been a minute.

I use Armors auto subs. I don’t like the 60/80 values personally.

So if we were seeing pretty bad robo QB with the qb accuracy at 40, will this affect that even more having it at 50?

On all madden by the way

The goal isn't necessarily to combat Robo QB directly. It's to get more variety and true to value characteristics from the QBs. Having some QB identity was badly needed as it was starting to be a different team, but felt like the same QB every game. No matter what, I knew they were going to drop back 3 steps and throw inside for about 5 yards. Now, there's variation to the throws, which then allows the defense to make their own plays, or the CPU QB to properly break you down.

For example, I was using the Eagles at Packers yesterday, on All-Madden, and Rodgers went 75% completion for 215, no TD, no picks. The final score was 17-9. He couldn't get into the endzone at all, and when he did, I managed to disrupt his timing, and the Packers opted to try HB screens instead to throw me off.

This morning, I'm in the 2nd quarter as the Redskins vs Giants, on All-Pro, and it's 7-3 Giants. Manning threw a fade TD, while I just now threw my first pick with Smith. Manning has been all over the place though, and his deep ball has let him down, which he's tried about 3x, but is now trying to dink and dunk. He's 6/12, 78 yds, a TD and a pick.

The key there is the variety and range of options the QBs have with their play. On lower QBA I know what to expect, but on 50+, I just have to stay on my toes much more. At least if I get Robo QB'd, it's going to be from a variety of passes that I couldn't defend, versus being nickel and dimed for 5 yards at a time.
