In my testing, yeah, it's Facemask as one of the culprits. There were too many facemasks though, even at 45, I've seen an average of 2.

More importantly though is the Fumbles value because if you see from the CPU side, they start to cover up the ball sooner. This makes them a tad safer in crowded spaces, but will also make safe runs on the sidelines, etc. Until it's patched, that's probably lesser of two evils.

Personally, the best test I've done is adjust fatigue under 50, and going against Bobby Wagner several times.

At 40 Fatigue

At 1 Fatigue

Fatigues at 45 thru 49 still resulted in "normal" fumbles. Hit-stick fumbles by Ingram. Fatigues at 51 thru 58 as well. The issue with higher fatigue overall though affects coverage, behavior, etc.

Does the fumble slider affect anything else like ball carrier moves’ success rate and stuff? Really would like to turn it up but don’t want to screw up the rest of the gameply

I mentioned a bit of this in the post before yours. There are some subtle animation changes where they cover up sooner. So in some situations where you'd expect them to cut inside/outside, they may just cover up and run towards the sideline or another tackle to fall down.

Any word on when the next patch will be? Tampa 2 is unplayable so far and it's really frustrating

Matt you said fatigue impacts coverage, does it impact it as in tighter coverage, looser coverage or what? I’m Curious what you’ve found out!

changing tackling and facemask sliders hasnt affected fumbles at all for me. Just had 5, 4, 6 in the past 3 games I have played.

It was that way last year too. It's not that having it lower improves it or anything like that. It's more so what animation is going to hurt it. If you have fatigue higher, you'll start to see players jog instead of sprint into certain positions. Most noticeable is drag routes and seeing the IL/OLB unable to stick because they start jogging instead. The gradual jogging in general is a sign the fatigue is too high.

Fatigue is a pretty sensitive value, as it should be, and I wouldn't recommend it to be adjusted under 50 because of how more amped everything gets, especially on All-Madden, to the point you have to start building a new set around that fatigue value.

Re: Matt10's Madden 20 Sliders

Played games 2 and 3 with the Colts and Cardinals respectively. Its nice that the teams play so differently with the set. Blew out the Titans 41-24 Mariota had very high comp% but it was short passes and felt like the Titans offense irl. Still getting sacked to often but im getting better. Got my 1st ints for both teams. Running game for user was slowed in both games. Most of cpu rushing comes on big gains at this point. Will say my biggest complaint is that my speedy guys cant catch up to slower guys. Harold Landry picked up a fumble on his own 40 and just ran it back despite Hilton and Campbell chasing him.

Side note despite raising fumbles to 70 when facing enforcer Kuechly he still forced 2 fumbles on my first to runs with DJ.

All in all enjoying the set.
