Re: Tommycoa’s 15 minute cpu vs cpu slider set for Madden 20

Playmakers just sent me the following email. He’s using these sliders for his 90s file on xbox. These are each franchises best individual teams from the 1990s. I’ve used these sliders with a 1988, 1995,1998, 2001 and modern rosters. Plays good on all these levels. I know it’s for last season, but figured I’d post. People who aren’t happy with 21, or air a patch messes up the game, may want to go back to 20 and give these a shot.

On a side note, i fired up madden 16. Gonna try to make some sliders from it. I was still filling with coach mode back on 16 and coach mode doesn’t work. It was before i made the full switch to cpu/cpu. Love the broadcast cam and commentary in 16. Really good game. It plays a lot like 21, but it’s finished product since there will be no more patches.

CPU Sliders for madden 20 & played the 96 Panthers vs 92 Dolphins.
>
> This was an awesome game and your sliders really captured Marino perfectly with the QBA @ 90. The Dolphins won this game 28-25, Marino threw the go ahead TD pass to Tony Martin from 4 yards out with 4:46 left in the 4th QTR. Dolphins were trailing 25-20 at the time and took over at their own 39 yard line. The key play was a Marino 37 yard strike to Martin on a 1st down pass putting the Dolphins at the Panthers 24 yard line. He then connected with RB Bobby Humphrey on a screen pass that would go for 14 yards before they scored the TD. Ferrell Edmunds scored on 2-PT conversion after the TD.
>
> Carolina had a shot to tie the game, Rocket Ismail got them in FG range following a 25 yard reception moving the ball to the Dolphins 38 yard line with 3:17 remaining in the 4th QTR.
>
> The Dolphins defense surprisingly held up and forced a 55 yard FG from John Kasey which sailed just right and missed. Prior to that missed kick, Kasey was reliable making 4 FG's on the day from 29, 43, 18 & 43 yards.
>
> The Panthers had one last shot to tie the game but on their final possession Dolphin SS Louis Oliver picked off Kerry Collins at the Panthers 41 yard line with 1:10 left in the game to seal the deal.

HC, just want to point out this is the madden 20 thread. I know you’re playing on 21. Great stats in this game. You kept me updated on it with texts. Sounded like a great battle.

Hi I just have a question about the 90s roster. I'm starting a franchise using Playmakers 90s roster. But in the process I found a couple of 90s rosters by you as well. I'm assuming these are Playmaker's rosters, but with edited Punters & QBs to get them to scramble past the LOS?

I will be using your 15 min cpu vs cpu sliders in my cfm

Do you recommend playing with your 1990s roster edits to do this?

I was at first struck by how low Dan Marinos and Troy Aikmans overall was (78 and 72) but I also realize Overall is not a great indicator.

I believe Aikman & Marino and others who are normally in he 90s in SMLaccuracy are now way down in the 70s in accuracy in order to get the Scramble going. Does this still produce realistic (superstar-type) passing results and numbers? Or does it nerf them quite a bit?

Also were other positions edited too like punters or receivers or RBs etc?

I fully trust your edits and the logic behind them. I'm just curious of what kind of results I should expect to see from the Youngs, Montanas, Marinos, as the seasons go by with the lower accuracy settings.

Thanks for all your work. I'm very excited to get back into Madden because of it.

it’s a complete edit of the 1990 season. the qb edits makes qb play realistic with the lower accuracy ratings. i added 20 points to there real completion percentage.

if you use these and the playbooks, go to all the depth charts and change the wr 1 and wr 2. flip them. bery hard to ex0lain. just trust me. also flip the cb 1 and cb 2 on the depth.

i use default pro for these. dont see many penalties a]but the results are very close to what really happened. the 1990 season schedule and the 2019 nfl schedule are very smiliar.

also i made the ravens, panthers, texans and jags expansion teams and used little used players and recently retured guys or their roster.
