Inside the settings the new throwing methods are all laid out pretty clear. I don't know how well the game teaches you the methods with any trainers/tutorials. In the beta I just went in with the trial by fire method and after a couple of games got somewhat decent with the mechanic.

Beta gameplay was excellent for Madden. My only complaints were too many hit-sticks and too many caught tipped passes. But those were minor (and they said they increased the number of hit animations).

They did say there will be a tutorial or skills trainer thingy for the new passing thingy just so people know.

This is probably the biggest addition in two generations.
