Madden 26 Wishlist

I want immersion and good record keeping. The scenario engine stuff is getting old or at least not getting serious support. It needs more widespread changes. I've been saying it for half a decade now, but CPU scenarios. That's the biggest miss of the past 5 years in franchise. Why can't I look at my teams history? Year to year breakdowns. Record, stats, scenarios and results, etc. There's still not much life when playing in a single player franchise.

Fix the progressive lighting. It hasn't been working since madden 22 which is crazy.

Outstanding work! Coaching tree, In-House promotion, Assistant coaches and Staff relationships are highly likely if Josh Looman continues to "NFL-Head-Coach-ify" Madden's franchise mode.

I remember staff meetings in NFL Head Coach where adjustments to your standing with assistants happened in real-time (+ or - icons appeared over their heads) depending on how you responded to their suggestions for the weekly gameplan, draft prospects, free agent moves, etc. If I'm not mistaken, they'd walk out of a meeting if it got too low.

I used to enjoy seeing my coaching tree expand and watching former assistants have success at their new posts around the league. I always promoted from within to fill vacant coordinator positions. Good times!

I'd love to see a CFB26-M26 port, having it so I can just export my draft classes like you used to be able to. I've got a lot of super extravagant ideas, but a realistic one would be to add actual expansion teams like NBA2k does, or rule changes (again, NBA2k). Would also like more contract options (catch bonuses). One lowkey one would be better face generation: no more predetermined faces, add the FC25 model for generating faces and continue to tweak it. Also, maybe leverage AI to create portraits for auto-generated players?? I know that I just miss the 2010's Maddens that had real portraits for drafted players.

Another thing I thought of: it would be great if we could extend players before the final year of their contracts. Seems kind of strange that the vanilla game has no way to do this.

I believe it was confirmed before that they do plan to bring the AI-generated facsimile genhead system that CFB uses over to Madden once they iron out some of the issues with it.

Also, I would love to see the QB sneak added to the gameplay, like the tush push, Trevor Lawrence diving/reaching at the goal line, etc.

Unless I've missed it, I don't see any QB sneak plays in the game. It's a huge part of real football. Should've been in the game 3 years ago.

I'm hoping that with Travis Hunter coming into the league, they finally just make an ATH roster spot, and that they make it wide open where whomever said Athlete designation is, you can put them anywhere in the depth chart and never have issues with sub formations, either.
