Well I was missing the point and asking about xbox one and didn't realize that this had turned into a xbox 360 discussion. Sorry for that!

Regardless.....I do think the Xbox 360 graphic quality actually went slightly backwards through the years and I could definitely see where Madden 13 and 25 on the 360 took a slight hit compared to 13. The textures just weren't as sharp or clear and lighting was a little less. I noticed this long before and Next Gen versions.

So it is entirely possible that earlier versions of Madden Xbox 360 are closer to next gen quality graphics than 13 or 25. Definitely possible.
