Top Rated Player in Madden 15 Richard Sherman

In an NFL Fan Pass video it is said Richard Sherman will be the top rated player out of all positions in Madden 15.

Your thoughts? Who should be rated higher than Sherman?

You gotta be kidding me? Really? Not Manning? Even after the super bowl he should have a 98-99 rating.

I'm guessing since Seattle defense tore him apart they gave it to Sherman

I guess so. Doesn't matter, Madden's rosters are always subject to change, whether by me, some one else.

I still think someone should be rated the same as Sherman as for who idk too many positives

Neither Manning nor Sherman should the top rated player. Like already said, I don't use EA rosters anyway, because of stuff like this.

There was a time when I'd get in a tizzy over the OVR rating but now I couldn't care less. Don't get me wrong, I still care about individual player ratings/skills and wish EA/Tiburon did them in a way akin to FBG ratings/Dan but the OVR rating specifically, which I guess they are referring to here, means very little to me at this point.

The OVR rating seems to be an area where EA/Tiburon has succeeded in doing something for the general gamer/casual, displaying player popularity, that doesn't really seem to effect the play of the actually game.

So Richard Sherman has the highest OVR, out the box, in the shipped rosters, no biggie.
