Details on the Matchup Stick

Seems to me Madden has taken a lot of things from NCAA this year.

Agreed it is a good thing. Only other feature I would like to see adopted is Studio Updates for franchise mode.

Loved the matchup stick in NCAA, just hope it's basically the same for Madden.

Spot on. Loved the studio updates but am doubtful they'll get into this years Madden.

Can now confirm after seeing the E3 presentation that the Matchup Stick functions the same as NCAA last year, just with a different interface. And I need to see the archive of it to see what ratings were being compared for the line players.

Edit: Okay, so for the line play it doesn't show numbers, just shows a green, red, or uncolored circle underneath the O-linemen. SF had the LT and LG with green dots on Pass Blocking, but for Run Block all were red dots except for the RT. So I guess it's more of an overview of how the lines stack up against one another.

In the 15 minute gameplay video it looked like it showed coverages as well when the offense (SF) used the matchup stick.

How will it display vs. zone and will this be a way to determine what coverage the D is using? I hope not.
