Does the lack of videos or new features on madden 15 worry you?

The lack of information concerning CC bothers me for sure. There is so much room for improvement from a Sim perspective and we are a month away from release without ONE tangible improvement mentioned. I would say there is cause for concern. Honestly though, I'm sure most are jaded to the pre release promises anyways so I'm not sure what difference it would make.

Not worried, but not excited either. It feels like the last time the game transitioned to new consoles. The older gen version had a few tweaks, New menus and a roster update while the newer version focused mainly on graphics. It's madden 07 all over again basically.

I'm hoping it's a good thing. Maybe there holding some big feature back like they did with the physics engine.

Outside of that tactic, it's whatever. I expect the status quo, but am happy to be surprised.

The lack of gameplay videos released has caused my excitement for the game to be greatly reduced. The lack of CFM information released has me pretty concerned.

Well said. I like what I've seen from the E3 vids and interviews with the dev team. It looks like a nice improvement for this year and I'm looking forward to buying a digital copy and having fun.

The lack of marketing really doesn't bother me. In fact, it seems par for the course these days. If you've been paying attention the marketing on pretty much all Next Gen sports games has been down compared to last gen. Really The Show has been the only game that we really knew anything about months ahead of time and that's because most of the game shared the same features of the CG game.

Most of the games (The Show included) didn't really start pumping out videos until we were about a month away for release. I know a lot of us still had questions about 2K, Live and EA UFC even on release day which leads me to believe that the way that companies trickled stuff out months and months before their game was released is a thing of the past.

So to answer the question again... No, the marketing really doesn't worry me.... It's the lack of innovation, legacy issues, lifeless CFM (with what looks like no editing features), etc. that worries me.

In the FranchisePlay interview with Brian Mazique Rex said they had overhauls in presentation, CFM, and MUT. Clint told me he think most people will be pleased with CFM this year, even hinted at a return of HC like features in one tweet. I agree with the poster above that next gen gaming has seen far less marketing overall. Also under Andrew Wilson we've seen less info and marketing of Madden, Cam and Rex both have said they want people to play the games not just read blogs or watch videos of them.

As far as the E3 demo, I was told that sf and sea were the only teams who were near completion with face scans, uniforms, equipment, and player models. They were still doing a lot of work on the other 30 teams according to the GC's Sim and Shopmaster.
