I'd have to say Bills, Browns, Vikings, Eagles, and Lions

I really love the Dolphins this year, they simply have everything on offense. And the conference is not as stacked as the NFC, of course.

Re: How's your Connected Franchise going? - Madden 15 Editon

Using a created QB on the Cardinals - year two.

After an 11-5 season and a Wild Card victory in Washington, my team was riding high going into San Francisco for the Divisional round. They had our number in the previous two contests, but this time my Cards were ready. I played a very careful game, leaning more heavily on my running game than usual. The Cards ended up pulling the win out, advancing us to the Conference Round against Seattle, of whom we've taken out decisively twice during the regular season. Hopes are high.

The Seattle game was unfortunately a disaster. I got into a trap of trying to keep up with their potent offense in the second quarter leading to my first interception. Seattle then scored a TD to go up two possessions. This cycle continued for the rest of the game resulting in a Denver/Seattle Super Bowl type of blowout. My team was eliminated.

Year 2 started off with two ugly wins over the Texans and Browns respectively. I'm currently sitting with 447 yards passing, 4 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. That's about where I stood at this point during my first season, so it's time to step it up.

*Side note - When the Year Two pre-season was about to begin, I noticed on the social media feed a comment about Frank Gore "slowing down." At the end of the pre-season, the 49ers have a new starting RB (my user buddy). After getting the starting job for week one, he broke the NFL rushing record going for 297 yards against Chicago. The next week he ran for 130 yards.

Got my yearly rookie draft done. Im the steelers as usual. 15 Min QTRs 15 sec runoff, using basic all pro right now. Waiting for a good slider set.

Heres my starters:

QB Bortles
HB Jeremy Hill/Tre Mason
FB Prosch (SP?)
WR Mike Evans
WR Sammy Watkins
TE Jace Amaro
TE Stepfarin-Jenkins
LT Jake Mathews
LG Richardson (Was a LT moved him to LG)
C Bodine
RG Some white guy...at work cant remember name
RT Robinson (Was LT moved him to RT)

DE Tuitt
DT Carreathers
DE Donald
LOLB Mack
MLB Shazier
MLB Barr
ROLB Clowney
CB Gilbert
CB Fuller
FS Clinton-Dix
SS Pryor

Thats the basics of it. Overall the team is 75. And I try to raise the team confidence each week while also sprinkling in some XP training.

First game Im down 21 to 7 halftime vs the browns. Second half I FINALLY start stopping the run and score on a long run by Tre Mason. 21 to 14 with 8 minutes in the 4th. They come back and kick a field goal only to miss. I drive down and score with 2 minutes left. Kick off to them and they get a great return, drive 30 yards and with 3 second on the clock kick the game winner. Just a great game.

Re: How's your Connected Franchise going? - Madden 15 Editon

Just started a Packers CFM with the sim stats workaround. I simmed the preseason because I'm not too worried about preseason. When I got to week 1 I checked my depth chart and saw if I moved Micah Hyde to SS he has a higher overall than Morgan Burnett. After doing that I was pleasantly surprised how good the Packers are running zone blitzes with either safety (Clinton-Dix and Hyde).

Week 1 I beat Seattle in a game where I thought I had it wrapped up until the 4th where they outscored us 16-3. I did manage to shut the door with great defense on their final drive and win 34 to 26.

Week 2 was blow out city vs the Jets. I sacked Geno 6 times including a safety and picked him off 3 times, winning 33-0.

Re: How's your Connected Franchise going? - Madden 15 Editon

Wow. I haven't played Madden since '09. Just bought the XB1-Madden bundle yesterday.

This Connected Franchise mode is blowing me away. So cool!!! I love the progression and weekly preparation.

So, probably a dumb question, but here goes: Do players gain XP from playing in games, as well? I mean, if you do a scrimmage, it takes time per player, not for the whole team. So you have to be wise about who you choose to scrimmage and develop with those training hours. But will guys who I neglect to spend time with during the week still gain XP if they perform well in the game on Sunday?

Thanks for any help!

These are always loaded questions - not your fault - but it seems someone will come on here and have a different view of things. But, as for me, the answer to your question is YES!

If they have a great game they will load up on points that you can use to raise their ratings. Example... I took over the Bills, made a trade with KC for Chase Daniel because he has high short accuracy and a lot of what I do is short passes. Manuel had a great deep accuracy, but is bad on short, so I went with Chase as my starter and traded Manuel to the Titans for a 1st round pick, which is nice, since the Bills don't have a 2015 1st round pick.

Anyway, the way I play, which is a LOT of passing, Sammy Watkins has been gaining points like crazy and Daniel has too. I have played six games, am 5-1 with two miracle 4th quarter comebacks, and the players that have had great games, their numbers always go up.

So... to answer your question, YES, their numbers will rise quickly if they play great. Sorry for the long answer, but hopefully this helps.
