I feel like most people prefer owner because of how much control you get. I'd suggest getting started there.

Re: How's your Connected Franchise going? - Madden 15 Editon

Pretty bad start to my season so far as I am 0-2 and neither game was particularly close. Cassel started was okay but fractured his foot against the Rams and I had to bring in Ponder to finish it out and he threw 3 picks, I lost big. Second game against the Pats I had Bridgewater start in Cassels place and he started hot with a beautiful TD to Greg Jennings, but he ended up throwing 4picks and I lost 28-10. My schedule doesn't get much easier and now I'm lost at what to do at QB, I already was forced to throw Bridgewater into the fire and now when Cassel comes back week 4-5 idk what I should do. Only bright side is AP has rushed for over 100yds in both games. On top of already having lost Everson Griffin and Brian Robinaon for a couple weeks, Anthony Barr broke his jaw so my pass rush is brutal at the moment. I get Griffin back this week and Robinson week 4 or 5.

Re: How's your Connected Franchise going? - Madden 15 Editon

Getting ready for Week 5 of my CFM.

Playing as the Texans, I traded for Johnny Football.... (Had to give up two freaking 1st rounders AND Brian Cushing) I'm sure I could have played around and got him for less, but after trying 20 different ways, this one was accepted and instead of reloading and trying for less, I figured I'd just roll with it to try and keep it realistic.

To fill the hole left by the trade of Cushing, I signed James Harrison to roam the middle of the defense.

Preseason battle for #1 QB, Manziel handily beat out Fitzpatrick. Not even close.

Got smoked Week 1 by the Redskins (thanks to 3 INT from Manziel)

Managed to beat the Raiders in Week 2.

Had a 17-0 lead against the Giants in NY, and then was outscored 41-14 the rest of the way. (Gave up a LOT of big plays. Manning didn't have a great game, but I kept blowing coverages and giving up 60+ yd TDs due to poor coverage, and then poor tackling.)

Beat the Bills 23-9 in Week 4. Defense showed up and played great.

Adrian Foster leads the league in rushing. Manziel struggled at first, but has really played good the past couple weeks. J.J. Watt is a manchild. Clowney hasn't really had much of an impact yet.

In the past that tripped up quite a few people because in the contract offer screen where it says bonus that is a per year figure. So if you give a guy a 5 year deal and under bonus set it to $2 mill it actually works out to $10 million and that money comes from your owner funds.
I was ultra careful to sign a scant few free agents asking for little or no bonus money, and had the same philosophy for my re-signings.

In week 2 of my regular season with the Texans I got blew out by the Raiders 24-8. Matt Schuab picked apart my secondary the whole game and I couldn't seem to get off the field when I needed to. (1-1)

In week 3 I played against the Giants. We had a good game defensively. Offensively we couldn't get much going running or passing. However we did do enough on offense to tie up the game in the final minutes to send the game into overtime. Won the coin toss and received. I just went down the field and the offense was clicking then. I couldn't quite convert on third down and had to settle for a Randy Bullock field goal. The Giants got the ball back with plenty of time left but Manning threw a pick to Jackson. Ball game! Texans win 16-13. (2-1)

Week four against the Bills I went down 21-0 late in the second quater. Thanks to a Ryan Fitzpatrick pick 6. 2 minute offense scored on a 54 yard TD run by the Rookie Alfred Blue. 21-7. I would get the ball at the half and went down the field and scored a TD. 21-14. And then I all fell apart from there. Fittzy ended up throwing 3 more picks and two went for 6. FINAL 42-21. (2-2)

That's not the way it's supposed to work, EA.

Playing a test run of CFM with the Vikings... but beefed up. I threw some players on their that I'm a fan of, such as Kafka at QB (I boosted his stats to make him a 79), cam wake, fairley, and other improvements here and there. just twanted to have some fun with the game on a test run couple of seasons while updates happen.

Week 1 i got by st lous handily, despite a pick 6 on 2nd play. AP dominated and Kafka was good for me.

Week 2 I dominated New England after Fairley injured Brady on the 2nd series of the game, winning 17-0. The purple people eaters are back (oh and the honey badger is starting at safety for me).

Re: How's your Connected Franchise going? - Madden 15 Editon

- Someone has used the change of position thing at the begining of preseason? It's wierd, I drafted a low round LT with the Cardinals, and happened to be quite good, so I wanted to put him as a RT long term because Cars LT it's still young and dropped the overall from 75 to 64, and the other attributes also, Pass block from 80 to 70 and if you change back to LT the overall goes down again from 64 to 55.

Also happened with a drafted 78 NT who becomes a 82 RE for the 3-4.

-In CFM offline pre draft free agent market, there's any way to see all the atributes of the players or just the overall and scheme? Also, and as has been mentioned, the bonus is for every year or total?

Sorry for my poor Enlgish!
