Re: How's your Connected Franchise going? - Madden 15 Editon

Wow! Wow is all I have to say. The Dolphins dismantled the Browns 68-21 last week, but this week the 0-3 Bengals came into town and Browns destroyed them 70-3! If these scores keep up I will have to report a problem, but for now I will just roll with it.

Kirk Cousins had a perfect rating with 17-20-334-4 stat line Humphrey came in at the very end and threw twice or 29 yards.

Marcus Lattimore went for 69 yards on 17 carries with two touchdowns. Jamarian Greene had 39 yards om 7 carries, Turbin had an outstanding game with 3 runs for 98 yards and touchdowns(beautiful side step moves in the open field right between two defenders on his two long touchdown runs), and LaMichael James threw in 2 carries for 11 yards.

Recieving, Patterson had 8 catches for 140 yards and two touchdowns, Hopkins had 6 catches for 80 and a touchdown himself. Ashton Graves only had two catches, but one was a 74 yard touchdown catch. The play went perfectly. Also, I ran a play later in the game where three receivers ran verticals, the tight end ran a post type route and the HB ran an out. I threw it to Patterson because he was the first one I saw open, but I thought I saw others open and the replay showed that only the tight end and HB were covered, so they blew that one.

Defensively, not many individual plays stood out, except for Bradley Roby's two interceptions, one being a pick 6. He also could have had at least two more easy interceptions, but I'll take two no problem.

A surprising blowout it was. Bengals starter Tanehill must have been injured because a rookie quarterback started and subsequently did terrible, along with their defense as a whole, So two odd games in a row lead up to a bye week so the Browns will work to keep the winning canoe moving against the 49ers.

wow indeed lol. One does not typically see this kind of turnaround game to game in Madden (and real life for that matter!)

I'm assuming you did not change any settings or alter sliders in between games?

I played through one season in CFM and am currently in week 10 of season 2 and the most I have scored is 38 points. Most points I have given up I think is 28. So I am fascinated by this.

What qtr length are you using? Sliders or default? Speed threshold?

You did a fantasy draft correct? hmm wonder if that causes some oddities. Confidence starts at 50 for fantasy drafts right?

Keep me informed on future games!

Started a New CFM with the Jags as I felt they could be a fun team to build. Got to week one looked at my Draft class and found this!

Yeah my sliders are all basically at default except for injury, fatigue, speed threshold, and defensive pass interference all being up by 5 or 10 points. Injuries are at 70, fatigue at 60 and speed threshold at 72.

The most I scored in a game was 35 or 38 just like you before these past games. I just played a game that I will recap in another post in a minute here that was close until I pulled away at the half for a 30-7 victory which is more realistic.

I'll give it a few more games to see if any more crazy scores happen

Re: How's your Connected Franchise going? - Madden 15 Editon

Week 6 was a clash of teams on the cusp of greatness with the Browns going into San Francisco.

The first quarter and a half was filled with punts as the defenses had their way with the other teams' offense, but the Browns scored a touchdown with a few seconds in the first half and then a long touchdown on fourth down in the first drive of the third quarter basically sealed it.

Cousins was back in for the Browns and the team fared much better with him at the helm, but Aqib Talib tortured him all game along with the rest of their secondary to the tune of 4 interceptions(with three touchdowns and 323 yards by the way.) On the other side Bridgewater was deadinthewater(see what I did there?) along with the rest of the offense for the whole game and couldn't take advantage of the turnovers.

On the groudn, Turbin and Jamarian Greene both showed more burst than Lattimore all game, but Lattimore had a few nice runs. All of our backs combined for 153 yards.

On the receiving end, Patterson had 157 yards on 8 grabs including the long touchdown on fourth down(62 yards), but he left with a fractured toe and won't be back for four weeks! Although he deserves rest because he sits atop the league with 45 receptions for 857 yards and 5 touchdowns. Hopkins had an okay game, notching 8 receptions himself, but only 53 yards, so hopefully he can find more open space in the next few weeks. Ashton Graves had another nice game! He totaled 6 receptions for 106 yards and a touchdown(I think). I am very gad to see him ripping the secondary behind my talented receivers.

On defense, it was lights out all game except for one touchdown drive. Nick Perry had another sack to give hi three or four on the year and thats really what wanted out of him so the trade has paid off so far.

Next week the Browns will battle the Rams at home.

Speaking of the Rams, Ian Rappopport or however he spells his name, says that the Rams are finalizing the deal to move them to L.A.

Re: How's your Connected Franchise going? - Madden 15 Editon

I had started a CFM with the Bears (offline, owner - Ted Phillips) on All-Madden with some adjusted sliders. After playing 4 game (I was 2-2), I really wasn't happy with the output of the stats. I got absolutely gashed on the ground by the Bills in week 1. I know the Bears run D is bad, but I gave up almost 500 yards on the ground. Then, after a slider adjustment, only gave up about 30 yards on the ground to the 49ers in week 2. Obviously, sliders are my biggest issue. But, I need to have them right to enjoy the game.

So, I'm trying out some new slider sets and starting over in week 1. Last year, I was able to get through about 5 years with the Bears and didn't start until the holidays. I'm really bummed about the draft classes, though. I'd have really enjoyed if we were able to edit and have a community of real college players (user created). Oh well.

FWIW, this thread helped me determine some slider adjustments. http://www.operationsports.com/forum...do_oraeon.html

Week 16 of the 2016 season.

It looks like online QB passing yards and touchdowns are pretty close to accurate. The number of interceptions they're throwing on the other hand isn't.
