If you're within the 5 yard line running a fade route on the outside works excellent. Very close to how it works in real life. It's one thing they definitely got right in this game.

I can tear it up with Colston and Graham in the redzone.

How would you throw it, where would you lead it, and how quickly would you throw it?

Pick a formation that puts a WR (preferebaly a tall one) in 1 on 1 on the outside. Hot route him to fade.

After you snap do basically a 1 step drop and loft it to the corner.

I filmed a good one on my phone the other day. I'm gonna see if I can upload it to youtube.


Edit: I've uploaded the replays. They not from the best perspective but they show how nice it looks and works. I also apologice for the background noise. My girlfriend was watching her silly vampire show on the other TV.

Sometimes I user catch sometimes I dont.

i remember fades worked great in Madden 13, and disappeared again in 25. I'll have to try them. I picked up two 6'4" spectacular catch monsters for my browns franchise in the draft, so I'll have to give them a shot.

Great videos. Still wish there was a way to add more lob and just behind the pylon where only my WR has a shot.

But seeing those videos gives me hope because I have had no success on fades inside the 5.

I feel like whenever I try and throw the ball that quickly online, the lag prevents me from throwing it and I usually end up getting sacked.
