They fixed the stats through server-side tuning for online CFM and the patch included the same fixes for offline CFM.

Re: The sim engine is brutal

I play online CFM and while yeah the stats are better with the online tuning (apparently the same as with the offline patch) it still kinda sucks. I had to tune down practically all the catch ratings on the defense because there were just too many INT's. The punt stats still suck but I suppose I can live with that. But lowering the catch rating makes it look half decent.

The main culprit I saw was every 1st year or second year LB or DB seems to have a 70+ catch rating. These guys have done nothing to warrant that. I guess they thought anyone born around 1992 is genetically gifted with softer hands, or developed from all that internet and ipad stuff.

Re: The sim engine is brutal

the sim stats are broken in online too!!there are 4 of us in an online, QB only, fantasy draft, non starter league. So we are all back ups and simming games rt now and no word of a lie the one guys D gave up in consecutive weeks 79,80 & 82 pts?? and I checked out his roster and his defense isn't that bad, avg but not that horrible?

I 100% agree. I have ran a few test SIM leagues as well as a SIM league with some buddies where we were only dealing with the GM side of things... and we experienced all of the things mentioned in this thread. Injuries were a huge issue as well.

I also think the confidence mechanic plays a VERY big part of what's going on... as mentioned in this post -
