I used to like to do this in previous Maddens but since they added the crappy connected franchise it has been painful. The only way you can really do this right now is to go play each game and just use the supersim method. I'm pretty sure this would work but it would be painfully slow.

If you do you will have to adjust the quarter length to get a more realistic outcome. I had mine set to 10min and tried to sim a game that way and I think the score was like 55-20 at halftime.

Just out of curiosity, wouldn't it be easier to just use play now and just edit the roster to accomplish your goal of playing the Bears season?

If someone gets injured you can either bury him in the depth chart or cut him into free agency. What does using franchise mode change that doing it with play now doesn't?

It would be easy enough to keep track of stats and such as well outside of the game in excel or on paper.

I'm honestly just curious, not advising you one way or another.

It would be nice if you could just simulate to a point in the season and all stats, records, injuries, etc. would be accurate to how they are in real life

Hmm that might work. I might try it over the weekend. Is there a way to sim an individual game rather than set the full week to advance and sim every game at once?
