I think it has to do with something they did for the online stuff. If they drop the overall down then many gamers will stay away from it, but adding the feature was something asked for by the community in the past. It might be something in the line of code throwing the overall off or simple just classic EA. I can tell you having played an entire season with a LT that should have had a 77-80 overall but had a 61 overall; he played great. His blocking ratings did not change. The only thing was his awareness dropped and the overall as stated.

It's the awr. Some others may drop too but awr controls a good portion of OVR.
