I'm 36 with 2 kids (1 just turned 1) and I coach hoops year round. The suspend/resume function on my Xbox one has allowed me to get the most out of madden 15.

As someone earlier posted. I hope players play like their real life counterparts.

Also I hope the fight for air supremacy isn't just user controlled like foot planting was.

what pisses me off the most about 15's WRs is that on out routes, your WR will always run out of bounds unless you make him stop but that makes him stop in place and then you have to point him upfield. Why cant they just program them to plant their foot and go up field?? cant be that hard

Just to piggy back off this there needs to be a just fall down logic for receivers and running backs. How many times do I have to watch a sure first down end up losing yards because break tackle animations forces you to run backwards and lose yards.

Man that pissed me off as much as anything. The ESPN license was amazing for 2K their presentation completely blew away anything we had ever seen before and EA not only buys the license, but then barely even uses it.

They did not purchase the ESPN license to use it in their games. They purchased it to lock out competitors from having a "Recognizable brand" in their product. If you read the court documents in the Pecover lawsuit, you will read the testimony and emails of the EA executives stating this among other things.

You will also learn the true intentions of EA with respect to the exclusive license and how some Tiburon employees felt about the renewal of that license. Some of it may surprise you. Not everyone at EA Tiburon felt this was a good move.

As I always say, I have more fun on the hype train and discussing the game than actually playing it.
I would argue that you have never enjoyed NFL football gaming. There is no classic game that would stand up to the expectations of more recent gamers.

I'm in the old crowd, too. Part of the reason we can enjoy some of these games that seem to have too many flaws is that we grew up actually playing and enjoying games with a ton more flaws.

You would lose that argument. I'm not the oldest cat here, but I've been playing since the original John Madden Football on Genesis. It's simply that certain features and gameplay details get added to games and become the standard. If that standard has not been met or exceeded, the game becomes less enjoyable, especially after a decade.

I get what the motivation for buying it was, just wish they could have tried to make a better game with it even if it was just a secondary motivation. Just makes no sense after seeing what 2K did with 2K5, then buying the license that would have allowed them to do the same, and instead releasing the trash that was Madden 06.
