From what I've seen - yes. Also, the safety interactions, especially when they're in a deep third playing against a deep pass (bullet, particularly) have taken steps back as well. Safeties will often not trigger any animation to play the ball or defend it or anything and just stand there and watch the WR catch it.

I personally really like the new passing controls, wr db interaction, especially like holding L2 and pressing x for possession catches on comebacks/curls, feels like we have a little control over the pass for once. The ol/dl interaction simply isnt where it needs to be, last year heavily favored towards the dl, this year they nerfed it a bit. What we need is a happy medium at least for sack totals, and better control over the hand fighting, rush moves.

Yes. One hundred percent

AI controlled pass rush is anemic. Guys don't attempt to shed blocks nearly enough, they just play patty cake and sometimes you get a lucky dice roll.

User controlled pass rush is fine

For sure, it seems like it would be an easy enough thing to add, and it would definitely add a realistic look to the players, since a lot of guys in the league do it these days.

Have you tried adjusting sliders to fix this?

Just know zone coverage is still bad. As soon as the ball is hiked players run go to their zone with no awareness of were wrs are.
