You can always franchise 1 guy at least.

Just sign them after the superbowl when the tab pops up in things to do. I would suggest saving it first, then if they turn down your offer you can reload.

I'm in year 1 with the Chiefs and one of the tabs on the Things to do page is to negotiate a contract with Justin Houston. He is currently the highest paid player on this team with a contract of 6yrs for 75m. His asking price is now 6yrs for 106m.
I have no option to resign Tamba Hali, currently on a 1yr deal for 6m. Maybe Tamba is set to retire after this year so negotiating is unnecessary, or the game has these players mixed up.

This has been happening to me now. I had 5 players that needed to be resigned during the season. I saved before signing Denzel Perryman and he was asking for $24/5 years. After a few attempts the most I gave him was $55/5 year and still no sign.
I've won a superbowl, went to playoffs every year, he's starting and the weather is perfect in San Diego. What gives!?

Okay, so I was able to resign the same players that were rejecting my mid season contract offers of double what they desired. I signed them at the end of the season for a little more than what they desired.

Maybe it just a mid season bug?

Started a new cfm with patch in hopes the resigning was fixed under the radar. Doug Martin wants a 7.2m/ 5 years. I offered him a 137m contract and it was declined. Lmao
