Schemes needs to go
Confidence needs to go
XP needs to go
Drive goals need to go

They are breaking the game and don't add anything.

At least make it optional. I'll take progression based on stats, downs played, and games played. I think Madden 17 will have a huge overhaul to commentary and franchise.

I hate schemes so much! Wish I could turn it off.

This stuff drives me nuts. I recommend doing 32 team roster control. I have done it last year and this year and after the initial setup it's not much work and helps all the teams to be more competitive. During the draft you can just let the teams auto draft if you want. Though I like to make the early picks sometimes.

I would rather wait for a patch to be fixed. Yes I know it was said earlier that it would take Madden 17 for this to be done correct, but If someone brings it up to some EA folks on twitter I'm sure it can get patched. Customers have already did the hard part by paying for the product. Finagling a problem that is not our responsibility to solve shouldn't be the next. And I haven't even started a CFM( which is one of the biggest reasons why I purchased the game) and it already sounds too daunting. Just my 2 cents.

I like the overall idea. I think it's a unique way to get around the rating system( which I feel will go the way of the Dodo bird in a few years). From my interpretation I think that it's a way to say hey build a team, but it will take work to win a championship and if done right it should be.

Not everything can be patched, though. For all you know, patching this could be like trying to patch a detached retina with a band-aid. And take it from me, who chose NOT to purchase Madden this year because, as a sole franchise guy, I already knew franchise wasn't getting much attention.

As annoying as it is to hear (like it was for me in the past until I wised up), it's your choice to buy the game. Low sells is what drives motivation to make a better product in any business. That or competition. Madden doesn't have the latter, so the only way to send a legit message is not to purchase the game. Forget the ethics of it all, because frankly, successful businesses aren't driven by ethics. They're driven by what sells. As long as Madden continues to sell, with zero competition, you'll continue to see slow progress. Same can be said for movies and TV shows, or any other form of entertainment.
